The story about the Radio Dept email is hilarious, and really interesting because David was the first song of theirs I heard and I loved it. I had kind of a similar experience with Jens Lekman. I got a pic with him outside a venue in NYC and emailed it to him through his website with a short message of thanks and he wrote a nice email back. Years later my brothers met him after a show, and when they mentioned me and our brief correspondence he immediately remembered my full name and said "oh you must be so and so's brothers". Totally made my year when they called to tell me that Jens remembered my emails. Love the Bilinda Butchers and can't wait for Night and Blur!
