Thank you! Felt like a total novice when I watched this video. Drywall is soooo much easier and faster now. Dare I say fun? But I'm having problems with Makita jamming using Senco collated strips. Is this common? What strips should I use to reduce jamming? It's better now (learning curve), but still jamming about 2-3 times per strip. Not sure if it's me or the gun.

I screw 1000-3000 screw per day and nothing comes close to Hilti. What makes Hilti great is its allround quality. Especially when screwing plywood and osb into metal profiles. Good luck trying makita on that.
Also when a screw doesnt go in properly, Hilti is way easier to remove the head.

Makita. But only because I don't want the hassle of different batteries anymore.
The best I've had was the festool but you need both versions because the 4500 is great in metal but not grest in wood and the 2500 is great in wood but not so great in metal.

Is the Hilti a screwgun with the attachment? I see your Makita is the D-handled fully collated. Ever try a Makita screwgun with the attachment? I ask because i haven't.

The Hilti sounds smoother. From everything I've read, the Festool collated gun seems to be the best of all. I used to have a Senco collated gun but it was stolen. I'm actually using a plain old screw gun for the first time today, looking very much like a white person and glad there aren't any witnesses.
