🇹🇭 Doi Nok Mountain | ดอยหนอก | Phayao

Doi Nok Mountain is the summit of Doi Luang where a 360 degree panorama can be seen. It demarcates natural border beween Phayao and Lampang states. It is probably the most famous rock-climbing tourist attraction in Thailand. For someone extremely fit and with lots of stamina, it will take at least 8 hours to climb and reach the summit. For others, who want to enjoy and take their time, including overnighting at designated spots and the top itself, 2-3 days would be a reasonable amount of time to conquer this beauty of nature. At the very top, there is a Buddhist shrine, built some 30 years ago. I am not an experienced rock climber and I did not trek all the way up.
