Nerf Fortnite SP-L: Stage 1- The basics (AR + Lock removal + spring upgrades + tips)

- First video in a series I plan to make on modding modding this neat internal magazine blaster.
Today I do a basic tear down, remove locks, delete the AR (air restrictor), inspect the plunger tube seal(very good), investigate possibilities for spring upgrade compatibility.
In the future I plan to attempt a brass sleeper breach and barrel, half dart conversion, some cosmetic work, find the optimal spring and more. Stay tuned. - กีฬา

I am thinking about placing an Airsoft Pistol spring in the SP-L. That should double the Velocity.
A spring too strong could break the plastic internals
a gas or spring pistol? you could probably get away with a spring pistol, but a gas pistol will blow up the gun

where did you get the slide or the thing to replace the sight?
I’m thinking of reducing the mag size so it looks cooler
What type of spring is inside the retaliator?
I wish we in the US got the grey triggers, would make painting so much easier.

How did you keep the slide from slamming back into position? Meaning how did you get to lock when it’s pulled back?
The gun automatically does that
Ok, but how do I fix the little flap in the barrel when I’m loading the gun, it doesn’t stay up.
what spring did you applied there ?
Do you think it could take to brassing? I got the clear blue one, daughter likes it , don't want to upgrade the spring, so she can still prime it.
John James you Can brass breech any springer
A short brass barrel will work good, it won't work with the stock spring i dont think. The 4.5kg upgrade spring should be easy enough to prime for a kid still

Mine doesn't shoot straight anymore, and it often doesn't launch the bullet out the gun.. if I point the gun at the floor, the bullet will fall out.

can a worker 9kg spring go in there?
I have no doubt it would fit but whether it compresses enough to allow priming is the only speculation.
how did you remove the red dot sight?
After seperating the two main pieces, underneath the holosight half should be a black connection stick, on either sides are two screws that are holding it too the main frame

My internal mag flew apart on me, and the pegs that keep the spring in the mag broke off 😢

I replaced the spring, but now when priming the SP-L it won't slide all the way forward. Any ideas on how to fix?

you have to fully put in the black tube inside. theres a little rubber thing, behind the tube

you have to make sure the rubber thing is to the left and a little notch on the black tube is torwards the right of it
