Happiest girl is a GUTPUNCH. It is DEVASTATINGLY BEAUTIFUL!! Jisoo and Lisa's vocals are revelatory. And it comes out of nowhere,.. right after the 2 poppiest songs on the album. What I'm hearing them sing about might be someone being regularly abused. I can't even imagine them trying to get thru that song in a live concert. The audience would not stand it. There's no getting over that song.

Jisoo completely bias-wrecked me this era!! I was and am still obsessed with her parts in all the songs LOL. Most especially in Typa Girl and THG! Jennie was right in that Jisoo showed a new side of her with this CB, because she really stood out the most to me!

Overall, I felt this 2 year wait for a CB was well worth it for me ❤️. Also, don't know if you heard but this album *simultaneously* hit #1 on US and UK charts for BB 200, making them the first female group to do so since Destiny's Child back in 2001. They were not kidding when they say "when we pull up, you know it's a shut down". Girls are breaking records left and right and making history 😊

I always knew about Lisa's potential, she has studied since she was a child and loves to sing, loves what she does. Before debuting, she was the only one who got A grades in all the evaluations, which were monthly and included singing, so I wasn't surprised by the quality of her vocals. It's a shame that her company doesn't value her and doesn't exploit her talents more, as she has a beautiful voice beyond all other talents. one thing I love about Lisa is the delivery and passion she exudes, whether it's singing, rapping or dancing, you feel what she's conveying and it's beautiful. Unfortunately, many people don't like it when Lisa is praised, because they think she doesn't deserve more recognition than she already has, but I believe she deserves all the praise possible, for being a professional who dedicates herself and evolves to each work, in addition to her personality amazing she has. I am very proud of her and her growth.
And in my opinion I would like to hear more of her singing, she is good at everything she does! I'm in love with her voice, i love everything about her 💛

Tally, Hard To Love and The Happiest Girl are my top 3 of this album. But all songs are a bop tho, no skip on this album even Ready For Love is good. RFL is a good ending song for this album and to open a new era for BLACKPINK.

Lisa’s vocals is a suprise here. I mean we know she could sing but this is the first time she really showcased her vocals. I can’t get enough of it esp in THG and Tally. That’s why those two are my faves haha.

Not sure if it was mentioned or clarified yet, but in Rose’ solo ‘Hard To Love’ the correct lyrics are “I’m trying to be nice” not “I’m trying to be numb” she’s saying she’s trying to be nice by giving you a warning that’s she’s hard to love but once you start, there’s no stopping.

But all girls are incredible! Lisa's flow and fast rap, Jennie's insane swag and charisma, Jisoo's beautiful voice and rap skills... There are no words to describe these four talanted girls!

You know what hits the hardest in the happiest girl? like in you never know, jennie's part in the chorus cuz she went through A LOT bcoz of blinks
in happiest girl, jisoo saying "i can stop the tears if I want to". Jisoo admitted that she seldom cries and when she does, she lets no one see it cuz this became a habit since the trainee days and when they were preparing for a debut as a team because she was one of the older ones and 2 were away from their home and parents (lisa and rose) and jennie was struggling too so she felt like she needed to put up a tough front and be there for them like a parent if need be at all times.
Blackpink has been in the industry for 6 years and during that time, blinks have NEVER seen her cry, their producer teddy admitted he's only seen her cry once in 6 years and blackpink said they can legit count the no. of times they've seen her cry on their fingers and they've known each other for 10+ years. she can REALLY stop the tears if she wants to.

Shut Down is my favorite song in the album now. They killed it, us and the haters.
Every single member’s vocal growth shines through on Born Pink, but Lisoo especially blinded us this comeback. I’m so proud of them and see no real reason to rank any of the songs since I enjoy them all (although I will admit Tally has an unreasonable, intangible hold on me)
