☺During college one summer I had a job helping delivery drivers deliver Sears appliances to homes and apartment all over Houston. We would deliver hundreds of refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers/dryers everyday. I remember these three colors that summer of 1972, avocado green, harvest gold, coppertone/ or earth tone. Boy, we delivered in mass into every new apartment complex built that summer those three colors of Kenmore appliances. White was rare, and I remember ONE white only because the driver I was helping got a big shock when he plugged an oven chord into the electric socket at a home. I thought they all looked rather cheesy even then, BUT when you consider the clothes styles of the 70s with double knit polyesters, and elevator shoes, and that hair maybe those avocado greens and harvest golds weren't that out of place way back in the day. I even had a coppertone desktop phone in the 80s. 😄
