I’d like to thank you for this video as it helped me A LOT. That slide lock pin is no joke. Literally took me a 1/16” starter punch a six 1/16” punches(combination of short and long and all either bent or broke) to get it out. All I know is that I’m NEVER going to do a trigger swap myself EVER again. That’s for the birds. Thank you again.
I was searching for a video to detail strip my new Canik MC9 and found this. Great video! I like that the MC9 does not use any of the same pins or parts as the other Caniks, but the disassembly is relatively the same. There are no cross pins holding the take down catch or slide stop levers together. The take down catch & slide stop lever are a similar press-fit/snap-fit design as Walther PPQ/PDP & HK P30 respectively. You just need to decouple the halves by using a punch. With the exception of the backstrap pin, the frame pins are all solid pins with indents to center your punch. The sear housing is all metal with a NiB coating, and the ejector is cast into the assembly. Looks like Canik has been watching these videos and has updated the MC9 accordingly. Maybe they'll start using the MC9 parts design on the next gen larger pistols.
I took down my combat executive to this video for the first time no problem but my SC is a whole different story I've gone through 3 1/16 punches and still can't get the slide release lever pin out at this point I think I've flaired it out, I've used gun lube,wd40, and PB blaster on that one pin and can't get it out I've been working on this one pin for the last 2 and a half hours
I found a e-clip loose in the case when I bought my canik not sure what it was supposed to do or where it came from the gun seems to function properly I’m trying to figure out if it’s from the gun or the little tool kit they supply you with for screws
Would you please let me know what size punch you are using and we’re I can buy it? I have a 1/16 punch and it’s a little too big for the pins on the Canik TP9 Elite SC
Thanks for this breakdown video. I had the idea to shine polish the slide release for cosmetic purpose, and I needed to see how that pin came out. Now I'm on the hunt for a punch small enough to fit lol...
Thank you for the educational video. You are right sometimes the optic lid gets stuck and hard the remove with from the above of the slide so here is a advice, turn the slide at the bottom of the slide, under lid, the lid screws holes can be use to push the lid by a tool thin enough so it will pop out
Thank you so much for this!! Now i know how to disassemble my Canik Mc9 to start cerakoting it! I see you make kydex holsters, do you have any for the RIA BBR 3.10? I'd love to by one from you if you do, especially if you have the soft loops.
I don’t have one handy to do a video on but looking at the parts diagram I know I’ve seen that design before just not sure which gun. I’d need to look through my videos
Mine could come down for the slide lock and release take down level. I drove the tiny roll pin out more further than your but the damn piece couldn’t fall off at all. Can you help me out please?
Canik guns run real well! I have the tp9sfe and the TP9SA mod 2… I LOVE them… plan to get the SC elite.. thanks for the video.. I wanted to know how to take it down completely to deep clean at some point… wish they were as easy as Glock in that respect but I do like them better overall..
Hey I'm going to pick your brain, I took the gun apart and polished the trigger bar sharks fan and put the freedom trigger in, but now I have front to back slop with it locked and cocked after racking it, is this normal I don't remember noticing any slop before?

Awesome vid. I’m disassembling mine to paint it today so this is extremely helpful. Thanks for the vid. Also, make sure you put this vid on rumble too. Soon enough youtube is going to remove this vid and that’ll be a shame. Thanks again for the vid man.
Very cool. I see you have done a couple of CZ'S do you know if the trigger assembly in one of those is similar to a tactical sport orange or Checkmate? I have the TSO and bought an orange trigger for it but haven't found a decent video on it and it's pretty much the last gun I'd want to have down for any amount of time.
@@TheGunBench Cool, thanks. No I've never really worked on a CZ. I've only done 1911 / 2011, Glocks and Smith revolvers. And yeah I prefer to watch a good TH-cam video before starting for the first time on one. So thanks for being one of the guys who makes them, it is appreciated.
Ah yeah I see what you said now, yeah those videos of the shadow I have should translate over to the tso. Once you do one CZ you can do all of them. You’ll get it down quick
Sent from my iPhone hello my name is Robert ,Houston Texas and I own a Canik tp9sc and I tried making my magazine release into a left handed magazine release and I can’t put it back together but I have all the parts and Canik won’t ever answer my call can you please assemble my gun back together I’ll pay
Unless you are replacing a part, there is no reason to take it completely apart. I know guys that want to take it all apart to clean everything. There is a much easier way to get everything clean without doing anything more than a field strip.
the new Mete SFT slide stop lever is not pinned or punched into place and it's super sloppy, wiggles all over the place, had to return mine because of it, Very poor design choice imho.

You do not have to pull your slide back a 1/4 inch to take the slide off. Just pull down your takedown levers and push the slide forward
Can verify this works...i could not separate mines the way the video was done..i pressed down the takedown levers and it just slid off like butter

Can you please do a complete disassembly of the FN Reflex?

Love to see one on the Mete MC9 !!!!
I had a few struggles breaking down mine the first time so thank you for this video, it helped me greatly. 🔫🙏
What tool is that you use to wedge against the opposite take down lever when driving the small pin out.
@14:50 do you need to drill this pin???

thanks for the video, been looking at the SFX mod 2, seems to share the fame with the Elite SC.
I had problems as well this video really did help me out thank you
Could you do a disassembly and reassembly on an arex delta I'm having trouble on the mag release spring
I don’t have one handy to do a video on but looking at the parts diagram I know I’ve seen that design before just not sure which gun. I’d need to look through my videos
Actually here’s a link to the video I did on the original arex and it looks to be the same mag release. th-cam.com/video/qN02lazp5to/w-d-xo.html
Well never mind I see you already saw that video, is it not the same release? Looks the same in the parts diagram
Alright thank you it's just oddly shaped hard for me to actually get it just right to put together
I havent watched ot all the way yet but I will thank you so much
What color is that. I’m trying to change the color of my canik like that.
Mine could come down for the slide lock and release take down level. I drove the tiny roll pin out more further than your but the damn piece couldn’t fall off at all. Can you help me out please?
Do you know if the firing pin is the same as the other canik TP9s I can’t find any replacement firing pins for the subcompact

Front to back slop where
Is the Canik Rival the same setup as this Gun. Is the disassembly the same ?
The Rival model are even easier because of the new pun design. Also the Mete are simple too.
For some reason my canik won’t get past the to metal pieces in the back
WHY NOT POLISH THE TRIGGER BAR WHILE U HAVE IT OUT?
Really appreciate the video thanks for putting it out there came in very handy for me again thanks for the time you put into it great video
What color is that? It looks steam punk ish
Will this process work or be the same for the elite combat? Elite combat executive? Thanks
Yes should be the same
Great video. Any chance of creating a Rumble channel for those of us starting to move to that platform?
Never herd of it but I’ll look into it
Let me have a link for that last holster you showed.

Hi there , I just wanted to find out did your canik come out standard with that cerakote or did you do it aftermarket?

Great video. Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for
Is the Canik a good reliable carry gun someone please help I'm not real educated on firearms
Absolutely! I have 2 caniks… they run like a champ!
The sc model has been extremely reliable for me. No malfunctions so far over 600 rounds through it
Awesome video this is exactly what I was looking for since I got my canik keep it up👍🏻

Yeah if you’ve done other CZs you can do all of them. The SAO are a little different but easier. Same setup

Charged with a misdemeanor for expired FOID card, gotta go to court with my new FOID card to get my Canik back... 🙂
I fucked up both pins for the takedown lever and slide stop.
I just bent my pin for the loaded chamber indicator.. not sure what to do now
