You have made such a pleasant room. I love the minute men glasses and those sketches are wonderful. The runner on your harvest table are beautiful. I’ve never heard about the Indian shutters. That was something new I learned. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊

Your dining room is lovely, Carla! Your husband's addition to your dining table is clever and so useful. I love so many things, too many to list. Those Indian shutters are amazing. I've never even heard of them--they work like pocket doors for windows and are absolutely wonderful! I really enjoyed the tour Carla, thank you! 😊

Carla- I've had a super hectic day, so your video came just in time. Your voice is so calm and soothing.... You are so lucky to find these treasures! I just love the color of your walls and how well it contrasts with the white furniture. When I lived in Germany, I collected a lot of the old beautiful porcelain. Your "West Germany" is likely from the 60's... just beautiful. Thanks for sharing your lovely DR and all your special treasures. Have a great week!

Nicely done, Carla with the dining room. Personalizing this beautiful home. Those Indian shutters are awesome. How fortunate you are to have them and they are still functional. Yes, I have a few pieces of the Princess House glass..a candlestick holder and etched glass top...Yes, Nor'easter overnight tonight...stay safe and warm.

Carla your dining room is very elegant, I love your colours, the off white compliments the pretty blue walls, you must have felt a sense of achievement when you finished. How nice to have your Father’s table, again it looks great with the beautiful chairs, I love the captains chair!…. The Indian shutters are magnificent, such history in your house. I have just watched a very interesting video by Linda Smith Davies about ghosts, she was saying how she feels a presence in her home. I wondered if you have any history of years gone by who lived in your house? & how do you feel about a friendly ghost?.. Beautiful video, so look forward to viewing them. This is my FAVORITE room thus far. So we’ll done! I love Windsor chairs. They are a handsome choice. Love the wide floors, the paint on top, the fresh paint below, the whale your husband made……I could go on and on. Absolutely lovely.

Love the tour. What a pretty room filled with treasures. I live in a small coastal town in Massachusetts and that print over the fireplace looks like the downtown here. Princess house! What a blast from the past for sure. I have also moved that glassware several times. Your videos are so relaxing.

The rug that you are referring to was from the previous Owner, (that picture was from the MLS Listing). They sold that rug at their Estate Sale. Thank you Barbara

Thank you Annette. It's hard to show the true color of the walls in video and with the lighting ; however, they are more of a bluish color than green. I found those candles at a Kitchen Store in Portsmouth, I believe the brand was ROOT.....so many pretty colors to choose from.

I do not have the name of the color.....the walls were painted that when we purchased the house. I have had so many people ask in the past too. I love it, which is why I chose to keep the walls as they are. Have a great week Romona.
