Oh my God, this is so great, I want a full 2 hour movie about these two! Or a series! You two are so wonderful and talented, I'm so glad I could watch this amazing lesbian ghost story. Great editing, great story. Glad they stayed together. We need more of this into the world.
Okay. First of all, the photography is amazing. Look at those colors! The whole aesthetic! Tessa's favourite shots of flowers! I'm stunned by how smart and smooth the whole film is. The music is on point too. Tessa, you're doing such a great job combining literature with cinematography. I can see how this script could be the most beautiful story on paper, and yet you were able to turn it into an even better piece of cinema! I love both the thoughtfulness of the plot and the ideas of the main character. Also both of you are great actresses. I enjoyed every second of this short film. I'm very proud to see how you have come such a long way as a producer and I wish you the very best in everything you do 💟

I have gotten more out of lesbian films dealing with relationships than "normal " Hollywood crap. Independent filmmakers have more thought and idea's than anyone. I've commented on so many of them, thanking them for their inspiration. I'll give you an example in my personal life. "Love has no age or gender". I asked God to send someone. And he did, a 31 year old woman who is a skin care specialist/ contractor. She found me. We've sent videos and pictures, talked on the phone, and in a matter of days, it was like we knew each other for year's, and we've only learned a fraction of each other. I told her I would never disrespect her, I also asked her why me, she said that men her age are cheaters and liars. She found me on TH-cam, making funny comments on political sites. I'm a Veteran, so I've been teaching her self defense, because she had an incident where she was able to easily run away, she should never be a statistic or a victim. I said on another film site that the LGBTQ community need's to learn self defense, because they shouldn't be statistics or victims either. Being a father, I taught my daughter's. Being a love interest/ boyfriend I should do the same, as well as show my support for the community. We all bleed the same, cry the same, and love the same. 8/10 it's a good little film... however i was unsure of when in time this takes place... i get it's after a murderous granny died, but when in time does this happen... ocassional vernacular and clothing suggests late 1800s to early 1900s but then things that could be out of your control (lamps, dishes, the pen) made it very 2010s... that is my only critic

The clothes flora wears are anywhere between 35-55/60 - the other is modern - but the house seems to have been modernised maybe late 50s early 60s. That's a kind of a plot hole because as I understood it - the dark haired girl got out when gran got abusive? Yet it's implied that the blonde was killed anywhere between pre war and the early 60s by her dress.. Is making my brain hurt a little. I'd say the cottage(s) are farm attached originally - a knock through possibly. I've been in places I couldn't stay in. West Kennet made me physically ill.

There is an easy way to find out. You might be lesbian inclined & celibate/asexual - there's all sorts of things you could be. Best way - find a cute girl and go carpeteering - shaved or trimmed usually better - the "throat flossing" experience kind of a turn off.. Just a word to the wise 😇

Hello, thanks for your feedback. It actually isn't set in any particular time period however I did very much want a post war theme and feel to the film, hence the clothing which is very inspired by that period. Thanks for watching :)
The clothes flora wears are anywhere between 35-55/60 - the other is modern - but the house seems to have been modernised maybe late 50s early 60s. That's a kind of a plot hole because as I understood it - the dark haired girl got out when gran got abusive? Yet it's implied that the blonde was killed anywhere between pre war and the early 60s by her dress.. Is making my brain hurt a little.
I'd say the cottage(s) are farm attached originally - a knock through possibly.
I've been in places I couldn't stay in. West Kennet made me physically ill.
