Don’t worry guys, you best bet imma BOUNCE BACK and crush the group projects and finals! At the end of the day always remember grades don’t define who you are, but still try to SEND IT anyways ~
The semester is coming to an end in a couple of weeks (LOL time flies...) so keep your heads up high and press on! I’ll see you all next week ❤️🤩🤓

i recently didn't do well for my midterms and felt absolutely crap about it, so it was comforting to see that someone as accomplished as you go through the process of failing and striving for better. it helped me put things into perspective that even accomplished individuals have to fail to be better in the first place. i always had the idea that everyone in NUS got straight A's and CAP 5.0 and never really failed in anything at all. thanks for this video! :)

Everybody fails, it’s just that no one puts it up on social media and what you see on the internet is only the projected successes that people want to show.. I’m happy to share my failures to prove that you are not alone!!! 💪

I think everyone definitely has a period in life where everything seems to be failing but it’s not about the failure, but more on how you pull yourself back up after falling. We can either learn from the lessons it teaches us, or choose to continue to fail. However, I really hate our education system where grades are what everyone aim for in life, but hey, grades aren’t everything and it has been proven, what’s more important is what you like and what you have passion for. Mr Tamago here is really a good role model for many and he’s showing realistic goals and tips that we can attain. Keep up the good work sir, really appreciate your videos!

I just want to mention that, even if you don't succeed academically (which I definitely think you will, looking at your study tips content), the fact that you are bringing so many people fun, informative content, that really inspires and motivates people, is something you should be extremely proud of. So don't beat yourself up too much.

Oh my god......when Tamago pulls out the "Principle" from his bag, I was about to scream in excitement as I read this book in Chinese back in my high school......very great book, and I haven't finished the video yet, just so excited to type the comment here......would love to revisit those contents as well. I am deeply fascinated by Ray's life experience, even as an engineering student I can still appreciate those ups and downs mentioned in this book.
Thanks for sharing those modules! Actually, I learned a lot of learning techniques from ALS1010: Learning to learn better, and I would definitely recommend this module especially when offline teaching is resumed!

As promised I will go into detail and break the video down haha XD
    - Loving the supplements at the start of the video, it's the little things that make a big difference
    - Don't stress about the midterms bro, I think you are well on your way to a creative and bright future, traditional education is for traditional people, and you sir and not traditional. You're an individual on a mission to create empowering content and provide class service in the businesses you run!
    - That book looks interesting, I'm just finishing essentialism and I will order this and have it ready to read :D
    - However I am really impressed with how you've reflected quite quickly and know the areas that you need to improve on (root cause) this is exciting to see man, regardless of what the task or objective at hand it's powerful to self reflect as science shows this to improve calculated productivity
    - Also want to remind you in the book essentialism greg talks about trade off's, so I know you mentioned you crammed a lot into the time before your exams, but now you can see that if you did apply the spaced repetition as you've mentioned and given yourself more time, the trade off in those periods would of been much more impactful. However I know you have quite the busy schedule so this is a time management thing that you may want to consider reviewing and ask yourself if I say yes to (for example, meet up with that client, finish that mini project, go for a quick dinner with friends/gf) then you are directly saying no to the time of studying.
    - overall, watching the last 60 seconds just made me smile with gratitude - you still have fun and make time for others. Well done man, and I love the spiral concept of learning from your failures, I actually want to get that tattooed LOL
Keep up the good work, this has become my Monday evening routine that I look forward to! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Study in short bursts. Try the Pomodoro/tomato technique as you study. Study for 25 mins with no distractions and full focus gets you 1 "tomato" and for each tomato, you can have a 5 mins break. You may want to start out with studying 3 hours a day means you will have to "collect" 4 tomatoes. Have a power nap if needed. If you think studying for 25mins is too short you can modify your Pomodoro just like Daniel Tamago to 50mins and 5-10mins break per tomato. Take note that it is not the hours you put in, but understanding what is expected of you from your lecturers. All the best!
