Two visits in a row to my local Goodwill, and I have walked out with nothing. Today, the prices were even more ridiculously high. The manager told me their "Big Guy" was there today. Whatever that means... I think it's time for another Goodwill boycott for me! There were 5 items I would have purchased, but the prices were way too high! Beyond that, it was Made in China, China, China!!!
I stopped buying at good will when I realized what they begin the store stating the money that was made was for training people with disabilities and handicaps that isn't the case. CEO makes 300,000.00 a year with benefits that's ridiculous when items they sale are donated.
Mount pleasant is that where the bridge collapsed and the movie was made about it

I'm thinking you reached the right person, like a manager, and she can make that decision. I would bet it would work in most stores "IF" (huge IF) you're new to said store, and they don't see you as a reseller but a regular shopper. AND ONLY on bigger ticket items, so if priced higher than typical GW (or whatever thrift store you're in). If they're a good manager (or store owner) they want to make a sale rather than have something sit. What's the worst you're going to hear... no. If so move on, no big deal. Awesome pick!! 🎉 Love you both!!
Those crocheted things were so cute. My daughter-in-law’s grandma makes crocheted everything even snowballs. She’s made pizza and all kinds of food stuff for the kids to play with. She’s made ornaments. She is so good at it. She’s just made everything.

If I had known I wldve told my sister to meet up with yall. She just cleaned out her jewerly (used to work for a jewerly store) and she sent a picture of 6 gallon size bags full. Shes on Johns Island down there. I told her she shld sell it in bulk lots or GIVE IT TO ME, Ill sell it. But then …. In our Goodwill stores out here in Oregon whether they can give you a lower price depends on who you're talking to. If it's the manager, they can do it. People who are just clerks can't.
Next time you need to go to Greenville, SC and go to the Goodwill by the pound. It's a clearance good will that is similar to a bin store, but items are sold by the pound. They normally have one day a week that is half price day.
MANY times at the Goodwill’s in my area I have asked for discounts and I have gotten my items every time for a discounted price. They may have to call the Manager but I don’t mind waiting.
My hubby likes to do jigsaw puzzles too. I don’t have the patience!

I’d never heard of that Vooray brand (the little bag Kayla picked up) until I came across a collection of Vooray HATS at the thrift. They sold fast and for pretty good money too! Never found them since though.

lol... I Know that store and have been treated well by that same clerk. She's nice, absolutely. They usually have some good stuff. 1st store always has lots of hard goods. Next time you're in town swing out on Folly Roads GW. Holds some great stuff too.
Love whatching your channel and getting lots of tips. I normally don't go through clothes, as our thrift stores have tons of resellers that do that, so I avoid the crowd and chance of getting my hand bit. lol But today we were doing our reguar run, and I actually went through some men's tops, and had the same thing happen that usually happens to you. Where you find one great shirt (footjoy), then another, then I hit upon 3 golf shirts in the sale aisle (augusta, and amen corner) I got 12 shirts today and hubby was laughing

Dude, I work at goodwill (long story why) and people are always asking for a lower price. Pricing is just done off the hip, just ask a non cashier employee for a lower price. I don't work the floor but every time I'm asked I always get them a lower price. (Its not a big deal, just print a new price tag.)
