So Hyang slays slays slays and rules every song she wants to sing when well rested and rehearsed. I hope she will always get enough rest and mind refreshment after every performance :). Honestly, I'm not happy she took a breath, not being selfish and saying I didn't like the sound that way, it's just she seems to have amazing stamina and I didn't think she would ever do that. But the heavenly B5 and INCREDIBLY FLAWLESS RESONANT G#5 just brushed that off.
The reason why she took a breath between that run is, that the orchestra in the background is playing slower than the original version. They cant keep it up, which is why Sohyang has to sing slower. This means she needs even more breath, regardless of the 15 seconds belted run in the 5th octave. Not that she isnt capable of that, but she doesnt need to push the limits.
