Great review! 😍🙌 I agree, the scale is really nice for this build and glad they didn't go as large as the original design! Lots of nice details, especially the addition of that lamp post! 😍🙌 Thanks for sharing! 💕🇨🇦
Such a great review! Your reviews often change my mind about a set. I think it’s a beautiful set but was on the fence about grabbing it just yet! But your review has changed my mind. Love the phone holder component and would love this for my desk at work!!!
Thank you for your kind words and helpful feedback, friend! I'm glad this review was helpful - and I think it would look beautiful on your desk as well! ;)
Great review!! I love how much info you included from talks with the fan designer and model designer. I always love hearing about the decisions made in the design process. Looking forward to watching more videos from this channel!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed those details. It’s always fun when I have the opportunity to interview the designers! I appreciate the feedback.
You bet! I didn't know you were on TH-cam as well! :D Great chatting with you, and glad you enjoyed the review. The set is truly fantastic - I'm sure you're on cloud 9 right about now!
It certainly is. Its hard to describe just how much of a dream come true this is for me. Looking forward to heading to my nearest LEGO store this weekend and seeing it on the shelves for the first time. 😊
Absolutely gorgeous set. I’m not crazy about phone booths in general, but I’d love to own this set. You mentioned the London Bus set(s). Imagine a London Bus set in scale with this… 😂 (See where my mind goes when it wanders?) The scale with the figures is a really good visual reference. Thanks for showing them together. Lastly, I’m gonna put this in our heads for the next sale deal: DRAFT. Like- an amazing parts draft… ❤
Its not a "London" telephone box... It was a national telephone box for all of Britain including many overseas territories, for example you will see boxes like these in Malta.
Interesting. In my video I share about the origin of the K2 boxes and how it started as a competition. If you haven’t watched, I recommend as you might learn something new! The original designer for the LEGO Ideas submission that became the official LEGO set named it the Red London Telephone Box, likely because people often recognize them from London. That’s why it’s named this in the official LEGO set.
It really is a beautiful set! The build process was fun (albeit slightly repetitive with the walls of the phone box), and the display value alone makes it worth it!
Love this Review Justin! Such an in-depth, informative, personal video on the Set. Didn't think I would personally care for it, though after hearing all the details and creative builds, you may have sold me on getting it as a gift for someone or enjoying myself. Bravo @bradyjoyberbricks !
