Just FYI, This video is recorded in 4k resolution. While it is intended to be viewed in full screen mode your mileage may vary.

I've just started watching your videos, I wanted to know if you could make a guide to RK yellow for pve content for both solo and dungeons. And if you already have one, could you send me the link to see it? I am a new user in this mmorgp.

Thanks for the comment. I've made an Easy-to-play yellow/lightning runekeeper guide that you can find here:
      th-cam.com/video/QpkNq0dPkFE/w-d-xo.html
The yellow runekeeper is one of my "Go-To" characters for soloing instances and you can find them all through the soloing instances playlist on my channel here:
      th-cam.com/play/PLjpD5qP2pxuuJ8m8RSKIEs3hl5u7Jq8UR.html
There are just under a hundred videos in the list (yes, there are around a hundred instances in the game that can be soloed) so search for the Runekeeper recordings from the playlist as they are usually better suited to the Runekeeper class/skills. I'll usually show the builds & traceries (for over level 50 characters) that I'm using in the solo instance runs.
Most multi-player/group/fellowship/raid instances are run at end-game (ie. level 140 at present). So most of your initial gameplay will be solo (or duo if you have a friend to add to a party along the way).
Having said that, the Epic questline generally follows the Lord of the Rings characters/storyline even if your own character is playing a (possibly distant) background role most of the time :-)
Either way, welcome & enjoy the game!

Loyalty includes Vitality, Armor, and Incoming Healing Rating. This is the big equalizer between heavy and light armor classes. Armor applies 100% common damage (nearly all physical attacks) and 20% to uncommon damage (most tactical attacks). The Vitality and IHR help a lot, too. Just something to consider against your other Virtue picks.

Definitely worth a try. I don't think vitality or IHR will change the balance much for the light armoured characters. Landscape D+6 Archers can 1-shot all your morale if they are just a level or two higher than your character.
If I thought IHR would have been a factor here I would have actually included the purple +100% initial "prelude to hope" chisel rather than just mentioning it (while using the common +50% one).
But they will help against average landscape damage dealers if your playing overlevelled while in light armour. Ditto for the purple +100% chisel.
Also, IHR should factor more with other characters using medium/heavy armour if they have at least one useful healing ability. (I'm looking at you guardian ;-)

@@gwathornsgames When fighting a melee opponent, use your mobility to stay away! When fighting an archer, close in and force it to mostly use its weaker melee attacks.
As usual you do a great job making me reconsider my usual picks when making these kinds of choices.

@@JohnMHammer I've just changed around the traits for the runekeeper to test out the theory. As a burst dps character the danger is not so much the Eye of Sauron as it is the ranged archers. It has seemed to make a difference! Dropped out Tolerance (major tac mits/minor phys mits) and replaced with loyalty (armour/IMR).
After grinding out the Loyalty virtue traits in the shire I only had a small amount of time before the character actually levelled against the orc camp critters. It did seem to make a difference but it would take more to get a good idea of how much.
I was feeling the need to update the +100% prelude chisel to keep the healing up, felt I could round up more melee characters before running to the archers & did not die in the few minutes before the character levelled (and they all turned from overlevelled critters to near/on-level.
I'll try out the chisel upgrade next but it does look to be a gut feeling improvement.
      Thanks again.
