I like how Mike has the ability to teleport in this version
We didn’t really see him get out of the car in the original either
lol I like how the distance he drove is so short that walt can see him get out of the car so they just made him look away for a second for no reason so he misses him getting out XD
In colombia we use Intel celeron so he just set the draw distance very low
maybe he was checking if there was anybody else? i dont know how to even explain it.
@@fedcab4360 that honestly seems logical. I think Walt did. this in BB too
Blanco looks like a cross between my 7th grade science teacher and the Nostalgia Critic
my senior year science teacher looks EXACTLY like walter blanco it’s disturbing
edit: i took a look at him again and my teacher was much less menacing
Normal Walter: Shocked
Metastasis Chad Walt: Sorry not sorry
I think it's honestly mostly the actor. He doesn't seem to have much emotion at all in this whole show.
It'd be hilarious if someone made an English dub and it's just audio from Breaking Bad
Mike: Gets hit
Also him: Let me just put my vehicle to 1st gear
after he crashed I picture him putting it into neutral and wiggling it like 5 times to make sure its in neutral before he got out lol
@@phillyleotardo4343 Well I guess you would know everything about the dangers of getting out of a car without putting it in neutral, uncle Philly
Ok honestly the acting isn’t bad. I mean yeah it’s very different emotions but that’s not the fault of the actors. They are given a script and they follow what they are given pretty well (most of the time). What hurts this show the most in my opinion is cinematography and direction. It just doesn’t feel as realistic and feels janky. The car crashing so close to the shot is a perfect example and there are many others.
A lot of good actors were wasted in this show. The director, indeed, was the responsable for this adaptation being a cheap parody
Love to see actual Americans say _"it's not so bad"_ and fellow Colombian adults _(not even kids, which would be understandable)_ going _"oH I HATE Metástasis, it's just sO bAD, tErrible acTing"_
@@Maikyl. yeah exactly! It just felt so cheap and despite having some good acting, it just wastes away
@@francotacha5487 I mean, It's breaking bad but cheaper and worse, of course It's not at the same lvl than Breaking Bad so people will hate on it. If they had tried to do something different about narcos, maybe it would not be so hated, but of course it wouldn't have the same audience either.
4:01 point to metástasis for putting on the sound of the swing, it's kinda hearthbreaking
Is that supposed to reference Kaylee still on the swing at the park oblivious to what happened to Mike?
Was that in the original show? If not, that’s the only thing I found better here.
@@Shockkings0714
bro never watch Saul Bueno 💀💀💀 that guy's acting is swell
This is so cursed… why does Mike have hair? 😖
@@captainpelmenientertainment Everything has hair in Colombia!
Wait...
This is proof that what makes breaking bad or any great show great isn’t just the story, it’s about the cinematography, subtleties in the acting, atmosphere, and so many other details we don’t think about when watching the show but they all contribute to making what we see feel real and make us care about the story and characters.
1. This Mike has hair and looks more like a mechanic than a hitman.
2. Mike is not all up in Walt’s face but like 10 feet away.
3. Walt does not do a sudden speedwalk to the car.
4. Walt conveniently turns his face for one second so that Mike can get out of the car, which he does in a nanosecond.
5. Walt doesn’t seem to really regret shooting Mike.
6. Mike makes eye contact with Walt before dying and doesn’t curse.
Let’s not forget this version of mike in the car shot frame got shot in the heart and transfer wounds to stomach area this guys a legend
For number 1 Mike already looks like a mechanic so what’s your point?
Original Mike doesn't look like a hitman either. That's the point of the character, he catches you off guard.
0:03 mike turns around like he’s drunk lmao
As someone who was born in colombia i can Say thats pretty common
As awful as this series is, I'll give these two actors credit, they at least gave it their best
Actually they acted pretty well in that "we had a good thing you stupid son of a..." scene, I'm a native spanish speaker who has binge watch Breaking Bad through the years. It just that some camera and budget will never match the BB production, cause this is a novela-like.
3:18
@@SafeGs13 If you’d actually watch Breaking Bad, you’d know that it’s more than obvious that Walter has the utmost regret for shooting Mike. He even attempts to comfort himself and Mike afterwards by stating that he acted on impulse and didn’t want to kill him. Walter taking the gun is thus heavily implied to be for his own sake of comfort and giving himself leverage over Mike, not because he was plotting to kill him the entire time. All he wanted was the names, not to kill Mike, hence why the realization that Lydia also has the names is devastating to Walter in the show, as well as the audience.
Man watching metastasis always feels like im in an alternate reality
This Mike really took advantage of that all you can eat offer in Los Pollos
kid named thumb
I just realized how awkward that part where Mike drives off after getting shot is. He barely drives far enough for Walt to not decipher his location right away so him looking around is obviously a facade for a plot hole
These guys did their best but Breaking bad had some of the best actors in the world. BB is one of the 5 greatest tv shows of all time its hard for anything to compete with it
Mike is still goated in this version
Crazy that breaking bad stole this idea from here
They really need to work the cinematography and their camera angle here bruh
To be fair, competing with Breaking Bad's cinematography isn't exactly easy. They did a decent job all things considered but the best thing about Breaking Bad's cinematography is how experimental and weird it got sometimes - it would have been cool to see them play around more with it like they did on the show - even if it wasn't the same.
This was a novela, these type of shows don't have cinematography people, only the director and camera crew decides how everything looks
There was no money and they need to do everything very fast, so you have to be grateful it wasn't worse
Mike/Mario seems like a decent actor
But Walter? Jesus...
The actor of Mario was probably the Best character from metastasis
But he died
You know it's sad when you realized that the actor who played Mario was actually dead a year ago😔
@@bloodycheeseinsidemyass there will be no "mejor llamar a Saulo" or "the road"
“We have breaking bad at home”
Breaking bad at home:
the acting isn't that bad but the way actors like Bryan Cranston express emotion using their face and movements is unmatched. In this scene, Walter B doesn't seem sorry for killing Mario but in bb, Walter seems super regretful for killing Mike.
how the hell do you introduce plot holes into a direct rip of a script. its frankly amazing
@Bosnian Mine Detector that's not a plot hole, it's just a horrible oversight/error
In comparison to the original version, this one looks like two drunk people arguing in a bar haha in the original scene even though the feelings were running high it was still somewhat "smooth"
Kid named Mario:
The lack of charisma in these actors is astonishing compare to the original.
Ηοnestly, my biggest problem with this is that it has music
It’s because they’re South American, so we have to give them credit as if they’re children who accomplished the easiest tasks imaginable. This show is about as well constructed as their countries.
Everything wrong with this scene:
•Mike throwing sticks at the start, why?
•Why does the Camera make it look like Walt is shooting Mike in the neck and why does Mike act like he’s been shot in the neck before we see he hasn’t
•Mike’s comically short drive
•Walt looking around instead of making sure Mike can’t attack him just so Mike has enough time to teleport to the river
•Walter seemingly completely uncaring that he’s just brutally shot someone
Good things about this scene:
•The Actor of Walter and Mike do a pretty good job
•Walter seemingly completely uncaring that he’s just brutally shot someone
•Final shot isn’t too bad
@@captainpelmenientertainment Lol Basically imo:
Breaking Bad=Good
Metastasis=Not as good

ok, but the ending sound ambience of children playing is spot on.

Metastásis is a masterpiece. We need a Metastásis American adaptation
In BB this scene takes place in the woods. This looks like it's taking place in a park
Walter Blanco has a striking resemblance to Gomez from the actual show
I love the way when he shouts him he shows no remorse
Now I want to see a Korean and South African version take of Breaking Bad.
The real Mike never turned to face Walter as he sat there dying because he didn't want Walter to be the last thing he saw.
This has made me realise that Breaking Bad absolutely nailed the filming locations
really made the most out of the diversity of landscapes New Mexico has.
0:00 Just imagine Mike just chilling and throwing sticks like a child in the actual show.
Mike: "Shut up and let me have a picnic"
Fun fact, most Americans are German. Not Anglo-Saxon. I get your point though.
There is so much time between mike seeing the empty holster and Walt shooting him, mike never would have let that happen, in bb Walter shoots him immediately after giving mike no time to react, here mike just says “shit” and does nothin
WHAT MARIOS IMMORTAL SHOT IN THE HEART AND TRANSFER WOUND TO STOMACH THIS GUYS A LEGEND
The alternate time-line where Waltuh goes after Don Eladio, and becomes the new Don Waltuh
The acting isn't even bad imo, but they just got the cinematography all wrong
This is more well done than it has any right to be. Good stuff.
2:30 no recordaba que Mike pudiera teletransportarse
i hate how colombian mike says shit, unlike in breaking bad he didnt even know. it just ruins the scene plus everything is so overexposed its just not good
