Why review bats? In 2009, the only reviews available for senior bats were brand sponsored reviews. we set out to do independent reviews that tested the marketing promises behind each bat. Why we give honest review? Because we are not trying to sell you anything.

I'm 73 years old. Love my Wig Popper so much I sold a couple of good bats and got another Wig Popper so it's the only thing I use. It makes me feel younger.

I play in a plus 65 league. I'm 27 for 30 with the Wig Popper.

David your reviews are great,what I'm having a problem understanding your theory on the sweet spot,the sweet spot is the center of percussion which is where you get the least vibration which is usually 5-7 inches from the end of the bat,if you bounce a softball along the barrel it will reveal the sweet spot for you,if its different than this, then all the physics in hitting a ball with a bat must be wrong. Mine is a 2nd batch and won't open. Before someone makes a smart remark. I hit my red and black melee today 370 off the top of the fence. They are like night and day. I guess i will keep at it.

just so everyone knows wig poppers are what they are! bat they review is same as anyone on our shevles come by and grab one> no juiced bats just quality product made by players for players. thanks

The first comment on here is mine. I still love my first Wig Popper. It's super hot. But the second one is not opening up. Totally different from the first one. Anyone else had this problem?
