Here’s a basic summary of the Sonic.Exe lore. In the creepy pasta, a kid receives a haunted copy of a sonic game. The game was haunted by the spirit of a dead boy that possesses sonic and causes him to kill his friends. Supposedly, the spirit is actually a demon named Zozo, which is why sonic.Exe says I am god from time to time. Sonic.Exe likes playing with the player and makes sure he will still come back for more.
In addition, there is a sprite where you can see the real sonic hands in sonic.exe’s mouth
