    I like this kind of short videos. Keep up the good work. I believe you will reach more community. By the way i didnt play sc2 for a while because of life chores and then i started the game again and opened my Rank but it shows me master which i am not. lol

      Thank you so much! Yeah, the master's league bug still affects many people. Rest assured that it does not mean you are facing against Master's opponents (matches are still based on your MMR, which should be working correctly).

    I love using Vikings and Thors due to they destroy any and all air power in the game. The problem is that I barely can use them as much anymore due to the liberators, the ultralisks and stalkers which destroy Vikings so easily. If I encounter enemy vikings I have to use massed liberators due to their splash damage and speed and against terran vikings only beat battlecruisers but it’s better to use Thors for enemy battlecruisers and liberators for enemy liberators and vikings. Also since vikings are fragile I had to build battlecruisers or Thors to shield them from fire. Finally since those other players keep refusing to build vikings, corruptors and void rays I had to rely on battlecruisers due to that zerg player told me “You are foolish to build Thors and vikings and only battlecruisers can save you from me.”

      Landed Vikings in similar numbers without good blink micro actually eat Stalkers for breakfast. If you know your opponent is going heavy on stalkers and you have a lot of vikings out, land them at a distance and approach on foot: it's actually one of the matchups where landed vikings trade well. Really good blink micro can potentially change that (or at least close the gap a bit) if the Stalkers are just up against the Vikings, but with a few Thors also in play, the Stalkers have no shot. If Stalkers are the main Protoss unit destroying your Vikings, you're doing something very wrong.
      Vikings are actually kinda underused in TvP, since aside from their well-known dominance against skytoss, they also do well, pound-for-pound, against both Zealots and (if micro'd properly to avoid splash) Archons even without the bonus damage. Mech Terrans have better primary options against most ground Toss units and comps, and obviously, Vikings are still better made primarily as an anti-air unit, but landed Vikings are far from useless against some Protoss ground armies, and they are actually something of a counter to Stalkers and Zealots without either Guardian Shield or Immortals to support them. They're also not as susceptible to Disruptors as a lot of other ground mech units are. If my opponent is Protoss, I usually put out some Vikings no matter what, since whether the opponent goes ground or skytoss, they're probably going to be useful.

      Vikings don’t do splash damage against air or ground units. They are meant to bring down only tough units like battlecruisers and Thors but not Ultralisks. You want something to do splash damage then get Thors, liberators and tanks.

    Bro my gf and I LOVE these silly ass intros! 😂😂😂😂😜🤣😋 Your channel is gonna blow up soon I can feel it. 👌👌👌 Keep up the fantastic work and keep posting! I love all your guides and can't get enough!
    Maybe start doing specific macro or micro guides too! Like how to micro against general annoying cheese or scouting for noobs (ok I see they built a quick robo, the hell do I do with that info now? Lol).
    Seriously, you rock! Much love! 😎❤️❤️❤️❤️

    I've waited for the viking guide for a long time. As I have seen, there is no air counter to the viking! (Unless you're playing zerg or a 25 carrier fleet). That's why I always thought that whoever has more fighters, has the ability to use air. And I also like liberators with siege tanks because their 13 air to ground range is unmatched by any kind of anti-air. That means having more vikings gives you the permission to just outsiege the oponent with libs and siege tanks (yes, that would require a deterent of enemy close range attack like marine/hellbat/thor, which would have more supply cost, than yours, but a handful of siege tans and libs shred everything aside maybe only a full army). That means viking liberator siege tank combo is just invincible in direct combo, cause you need an air unit to counter siege tank but you need a ground unit to counter vikings. The only way is to catch it offguard or attack somewhere else to use their poor mobility. But that means if they are sieging your base you have no choice but to give it up. I'm trying to play with this composition and it works pretty well, the only thing is that im getting tired of being rushed or fighting a 20 carrier fleet. Like the topic of your video How to use and counter this outsieging composition?

      You already covered some potential counterplay. My initial thought is two options: one, you can drop / harass elsewhere (drops / BCs). Two, Bio-Raven. The Ravens are purely sacrificial for interference matrix. Shut down the tanks, Marines clear the contain. Ideally.

      @@IndigosGaming i usually got near 10 tanks, + vikings are usually in front of tanks protecting the liberators, but yes, if there is enough ravens from unexpected angle this strategy can work. As for harassing there is a problem that it is offensive movement, while you have to somehow defend your own base from siege. You either commit base race, or hope to scare your opponent enough for him to stop the siege. Just thought about it, your own ravens can use autoturrets to block the enemy attack while waiting for the interference matrix to wear of.

      @@IndigosGaming Oh maybe tempest - carrier - archon - immortal would be a counterplay to this strategy. Because of tempest's 14 range it can either make vikings enclose and take a lot of damage from archons and carriers or leave their position and make tempests way to liberators to make them and tanks to unsiege. Immortals and archons will do the thing then.

      Fast zerglings could be enough there, if the siege tank count isn’t high enough. And if it’s high, as you said, attack elsewhere (nydus for base siege). Another, more micro intensive option is using vipers+hydra. Parasitic spore to air, blinding cloud to ground. And hydra clears both tanks and Vikings.

    I have a question if im going mass battle cruisers and I know I'm going to face a heavy protoss fleet that is full of carriers, tempest, and possibly void rays what should I have to support my cruisers would vikings be good? Or should I just focus on making more cruisers? Also what should I focus my Yamamoto cannons on? the tempest or the carriers?

    • @IndigosGaming
      @IndigosGaming  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Battlecruisers in TvP can be quite strong in the late game. Yamato Cannons should be focused on the biggest threats to the cruisers. If you're fighting skytoss, that would likely be the Tempests or perhaps Void Rays. As far as supporting units, it semi depends on what you're fighting. Vikings can help shut down Tempests & Carriers, offsetting the Battlecruiser's short range. Marines, Thors & Widow Mines are all solid options to help vs Void Rays.
