Instead of reaching under his leg, use that hand on top of his forearm (double-team the arm you're attacking). That would keep him from pulling the arm away.

Richard Clark just keep in mind that the moves are based on the army combatives curriculum unless it has been lately updated
You should do a walk through of the moves instead of talking about it then performing it fast motion.
