Many people here are saying that Taehyung should not deserve a second chance but I just want to say that these little misunderstandings often happen between the couples and the best way to deal with them is to talk about it tell your partner that a particular thing about him/her is disturbing you. It's not like he was cheating or something behind her back.
Yes he did deserved the second chance, people always stray with there partner invent if they cheated. I’m someone who is hard to show affection but it’s that way we grow up, so I think personally he did deserve that chance.

He didn't beat her or cheat on her nor outright neglect. He literally was so focused on just being a responsible husband and being cold natured he stupidly emotionally neglected her.
And...even in cases of infidelity..cheating isn't always always just plain ol' being horny and selfish.
Their are plenty of men & women BOTH, who have had specific emotional reasons why they foolishly strayed. Cheating isn't actually always about sex; while i personally cannot fathom being unfaithful, as a middle aged women who not only has been in an emotionally neglectful relationship before; but also witnessed MANY friends & family who have been either cheated on, or were the cheaters.
And there were many instances of the reason the weak moments came for the cheating to happen which was far beyond merely going out and seeking an affair. Almost 99 percent of the time , people who cheat, they cheat with people who are far less attractive than their bf/gf husband/wife!
While yes alot of people DO cheat , intentionally, & merely for pleasure , very often? Infidelity happens when one spouse or significant other has been very emotionally neglected or verbally & emotionally abused. Then when they are in a situation with someone else who is caring, complimenting them, doting on them, attentive to them, showing concern, helping them...it often will dangerously turn into an affair...and sometimes, they wake up to reality after it happens... & take stock of their life & relationship and sometimes people CAN work through that and become stronger & appreciate each other more & not take for granted after nearly losing....not everyone, but in many cases it is possible...
Personal growth , understanding , change & growimg stronger after nearly being completely broken CAN & DOES happen for many hun.
I'm certain that since it's a personal matter & not your business , that there were ALOT of specific details involved that you don't know about your sis' friends marriage as to exactly why their relationship ended.
This story showed nothing that determined that y/n shouldn't have given fictional Taehyung a 2nd chance. He literally did care but had issues being soft & showing her. They obviously both did love each other he just didn't know how to exhibit it & there are MANY people who are like that in real life, both men & women. While some DO STAY that way & make no efforts to show love & caring & yes the relationship withers & no point in continuing, many once confronted do make the efforts to change their behavior & grow & the relationship truly then blossoms and gets stronger.

Everyone deserves a second chance, everyone makes mistakes and those mistakes will teach you not to do the same everytime. The mistakes you make will make you learn. My bestfriend killed her self because I was ignoring her and not forgiving her 😢. So please people give your beloved ones or someone who has done something wrong another chance because it can lead to something you wouldn't want and you would regret.
So sad to hear about your best friend may her soul rest in peace and I hope you best for future actually I m also like this you know sometimes we don't know what other person is going through not everyone is expressive I m depressed even if someone say something bad a little thing too I start crying and going crazy I can't loose anyone in my life sometimes people have too much academic, social and soo many pressures that they take such kind steps I m such a person if anyone says anything bad about me or hates me or abuse me or cheat on me I forgive that person easily within a second many people told not to be kind and all those things but I think sometimes you have to forgive because as per my experience I can feel how a person might feel if we do this
@@yeontan839 I am also a person who forgives people easily and I wanted to forgive my best friend but my step-mom forced me not to forgive her and sadly she killed herself. My real mom died and now I only have my real dad and I have a sister who is younger then me and I have a older brother. Sometimes strangers make me feel loved rather then my family. Sadly I am depressed and have anxiety but my sister is with me since I am living with her. I am living with my older brother and younger sister. We moved out of our step-mom's and dad's house.
