    Martin Kpebu, you're a role model and a patriotic citizen! It is high time we think about what is right for the nation and not our individual stomach! God bless you!!

    When Martin Kpebu says Nana Addo has never meant any good for this country, one may think it's a scandalous statement but there's no two ways about it

      Nana Addo has no love for this nation. None whatsoever. All the children in the Akufo Addo/ Ofori Atta household were raised abroad. They only come home for political appointments

    Is it possible to send this president to international criminal court for such wickedness on humanity bcoz water is live and that should be human rights violations?

    The integrity deficit is very true and fundamental to the issues we have. The mindset of citizens ought to change else we will continue to be at the mercy of these politicians.

      But the problem is that many have accepted that you have to be morally deficient in order to succeed in Ghana it may have started with our politicians but it has crept into every part of our society every part.

    The ban only allowed NPP to explore avenues to get involved in galamsay. After the ban, prior to the 2020 elections, they coined it as community mining controlled by party members, MPs, MMDCEs, ministers etc, that’s why it is worse than before.

    The media is always soft on Nana Addo. Is like Nana Addo is the darling boy of the Ghanaian media. The media goes hard on the NDC and plays a softball when it’s Nana Addo or the NPP.

    Absolutely! The problem is the integrity deficit issue. The citizenry as a whole is CORRUPT, and we keep voting fellow corrupt leaders from among us to become leaders. Until we take collective responsibility and demand accountability of ourselves first, we will all be joking and keep pointing fingers. That is all we keep doing in the country. Progress is a collective responsibility, people of Ghana.

    John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
    I salute this man for not hiding the truth, but speaking it out in very plain and simple language. What if we were all this truthful?
    Mr. President said in his speech; "Design a policy, not just to stop it; to reclaim the land, to let our rivers work again, but also to see how we can figure a way for all these able-bodied young men who are involved in this activity to find an alternative livelihood. So it's a package, a package that we have designed to try and bring this menace to a conclusion. " Has this been the case? No!!! He rather turned and gave the menace a new name; "community mining."

    I think l just realized something,ha, the mining is on the surface as compared to underground mining therefore this disaster omg Ghanaians we are then not smart at all.😊

    • @roneyblue3167
      @roneyblue3167 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A proper proper deep shaft (underground) mining setup costs over $100 million. Alluvial (Surface) mining on the other hand costs a few thousand Ghana cedis. So theres the reason why people tend to mine on the surface.

      but is the minister.
      yes, the cabinet made the law, and I'm sure it was the minister who also presented it to parliamentary approval.

    • @torjergolddust7237
      @torjergolddust7237 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@kelvinadu3885 The mining law was explicit that only the president can remove the LI so please be preview to the constitution don’t come and write anything. Nana Addo will be remembered in as Nana Galamasey

    • @kelvinadu3885
      @kelvinadu3885 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @torjergolddust7237 The president can not present amend to parliament.
      decisions are made at the cabinet level.
      the minister then lay the bill before parliament to pe approved by parliament.
      The minister can not say he is not aware the law has been amended to allow mining in forest reserves.
      maybe he wasn't the minister from 2017 to 2021.
      in that case he can argue he wasn't the one who presented the bill to parliament.
      but still he needs to be aware of the laws.
