Pakistani Military efforts to the cause of Education in Pakistan are really laudable and praiseworthy. It started with visit of then COAS General Bajawa to LUMS and free and frank discussions with students and faculty. This was followed by visit to other important universities and research institutes. This visit boosted the Research in universities and important technology inputs inputs in industry . Sahab’s initiative made the universities self sufficient with funds and expenditures incurred for providing scholarships, research fellowships to students. This further strengthened collaboration with Foreign universities boosting research . General Aseem Munir continued this policy and visited any universities and interacted with students.
