After eight years together, and two years after my worst MS episode, ever, my partner wants to end our relationship because he says there's too much for him to do ( like making dinner after a full day at work). He says that my MS is stressful for him and that stress I'd bad for him. My doctors say that husbands snd male partners often abandon their chronically ill ( female) partners, but women tend to stay and work things out. What the heck? He doesn't want to work things out because, no matter what happens, I'll still have MS. This illness costs too much! Fortunately, although at first I was going to be homeless, I'm now on a waiting list for assisted living and can stay in our condo until there's a place for me, which could ake a year, atthe "Shady Rest" where I'll be the youngest resident and where mostothers have Alzheimer's. Your thoughts?
