To decorate the island, why not put statues of all the different dragons around? Amd maybe reserve a place on the island as like a sanctuary for passing dragons or for the new dragons to stay at until it's ready? Hope these helped!

You need a special mod but if you have it you can craft miners dream where it take everything away but ores its awesome for caves and very quiet so it’s more perfect also great vid and keep up the dragon work
