Just a little something I have to say here. I've been having a super rough day. Sometimes, I like to listen to classical music while I do school, it's like brain power music to me ;) As I was listening to Vivaldi, it was just not working out. I knew it was time for worship music, to regain some focus. So I turned this song on and I'm sitting in public trying not to cry. I'm so thankful for the grace of Jesus and His faithful, so faithful love. The anxiety is gone, the peace is here. I am so thankful for the faithful love of Christ to me, it's the only reason I'm still alive.

Marty is one of my biggest influences on writing songs. I missed seeing Marty leading the worship for Jesus.
This brought me to tears. I cried, it's so moving. I mean, Christ did this for me! Tears of joy, knowing how I can and will be with Him for eternity. Forever! How amazing is that? People really are missing out.

This song is so beautiful and I love to see so much people together praising the Lord. It’s a shame that we are afraid for corona now and that even Christian people let rule themselves cuz of this. Where is our faith in God? Where is our believe in Jesus? We close churches we take distance from eachother. We are more scared for devil than we believe in our Creator. I want to remind everyone to this words : “Cause everyone who believes in Him will live forever” God bless you all.

Of course this song is beautiful because Marty Sampson probably wrote it before he denounced his faith. Marty was so anointed and good! He was my favorite Hillsong worship leader. Anyway, gorgeous song!
This song reminds me of how far we are from God by the fact that we killed pure love, how easily we are corrupted by evil, how much praise we owe for the grace of forgiveness, and how much focus on love and the truth we must have to keep from participating in evil.

My prayer is that EVERYONE experiences regeneration (the actual spiritual rebirth: John 3) and thus is no longer under the bondage of the fear of death and no longer even grieves for loved ones in the same way as before...
TEMPORARY sadness, of course (as Jesus wept for Lazarus in John 11) but that almost physical spiritual attack that used to happen to me when a loved one died no longer happens.
These relentless negative thoughts of loss, regret, pain etc no longer come.
Because I experienced the victory of Christ whose Resurrection CANCELLED the spirit of death and removed its power ["sting"].

@@kitkat3138 Marty Sampson is the singer. I can not remember why he denounced his faith, but I do remember in the online article that he encourages people to basically live by Biblical principles.
If he left the faith, then he never really had an encounter with the living God.

I'll never the Sunday mornings playing this in our praise and worship band. Everytime we playing this it would always have people coming down front to the alter and in tears and just giving all praise to Jesus. Such an incredibly powerful song. O Come to the Alter would move the holy spirit thru the church in such power as well. Gonna play this song this Sunday. I can't wait. ALL PRAISE TO THE KING OF KINGS.
