Social change incorporates significant modifications in the various patterns of social relationships, social processes, social actions, interactions, norms, values, symbols and cultural products. The concept of social change includes variations over time in both the material and non-material aspects of culture. These changes can be due to endogenous and exogenous forces which imply internal and external forces respectively. Several factors and agencies contribute to social change. Constitution and Law are significant agencies of social change especially in modern industrialized societies.
