'Himalay se' is an attempt to ponder over the pitfalls of the materliastic and consumerism driven world that we are nurturing and running after and as a consequence a world shaped up by greed , and erosion of spiritual values ,
While looking at it from the perspective of the ancient ways of living in the Himalayan regions that primarily revolved around the understanding and worshipping the divinity of the nature.
In april 2023 I was invited to be part of an artist residency project at @live_north featuring artists from different art backgrounds and we were assigned the tasks to build anything inspired by the culture , lifestyle, music or anything reflecting the Himachal and broadly the Himalayan region . So this is where ' Himalay se' was born.
