TicFest with Tourettes Action

Hello everybody,
I have recently come back from something called TicFest which is when families with children who have Tourette's syndrome get to come together for a weekend residential and meet each other whilst doing different activities. It gives everyone a great opportunity to chat with other people who are in similar situations.
There are currently 5 TicFests spread out across the UK which are run by Tourette's action www.tourettes-action.org.uk and funded by BBC Children in Need.
This video explains what TicFest is and I managed to talk to some of the parents, siblings and children who have TS (Tourette's syndrome) on camera which I thought was quite interesting as it lets you see other people's perspectives of life with TS.

I love this video! I haven't been to any of the tic fests but I go to a weekender in Scotland twice a year and it has changed my life as I've met some of my best friends and I have found very effective ways to manage my symptoms. Keep up raising awareness and I know that you will change the world!

Thanks for this great film, Wilamena. I'm friends with Barney and Eva's Mum and apart from enjoying seeing them being film stars, I've learned a lot about TS and different people's experiences from your video. Keep doing what you're doing! x
