Yes it will do black walnuts. I own one of these machines and it will crack every nut except coconuts 🥥 the only reason it won’t crack coconuts is because it won’t go down the chute.
I own one of these machines and they work excellent. It will crack every kind of nut you can put down the chute. Has an adjustment on the side of machine for different sizes of nuts. It came with a red 1/2 inch variable speed drill. There is a long steel bar that goes through the back of the machine that the drill handle rest against. I use Velcro to hold the handle there. This bar stops the handle from spinning around in circles. You have to provide your own plastic bucket. 🪣 Thinking I paid $475 to $500 dollars about 12 years ago. Don’t use mine much anymore and will probably be selling it on EBay soon. Mine still works excellent and looks like new.

how can i adjust nut size 3/16" to 5/8".?
Can you make one that all the nuts will go into the bucket? Maybe a plate above the hole to immediately deflect the nuts into the bucket?

No it won’t crack seeds, only nuts 🌰. Seeds are to small.
