Hi, I had the same issue that the phone did not accept the new battery. Luckily I found a workaround in a German newsgroup: 1) Boot up the device using the original Battery 2) connect an USB charger to the mobile 3) Disconnect the original batery and connect the new one ( you have to be quite fast, if the phone shuts down during the change you have to go back to step 1) 4) charge the phone for about 10 minutes and check if the batteryindicator moves up. 5) restart the phone and double check that the new battery is accepted. I’ve tested this method and it worked for me.
@@leemu2k Oh my gosh! After I tried out every suggestion I found on the internet, this eventually worked for me too! But I put a spin on it. To reduce energy consumption and keep it alive during the switch, I unplugged the screen! Beforehand, my phone died the moment I took off the battery cable. But having the screen not attached, it worked. So happy. By the way, the screen is the yellow/reddish cable that comes from underneath the battery and attaches below the lower-left camera. Having tried out the other methods suggested online, I must say that I also left my phone charging for some hours while it continuously rebooted, and I did a factory reset beforehand. But I don't think that was necessary

I'm not sure if this helped but I charged the old battery up to 70% incase the low voltage was causing issues when swapping. Disconnected the screen cable, then quickly disconnected old battery and replaced with new battery cable. Finally working!
All of you, who replace battery on his on hand, you need go to special sevice / repair place. You need to reprogram serial numbers in battery. Himer or Simga device can do it. Regards :)
It shows Huawei and then powered by Android at the bottom and keeps just flashing that I don't have to supercharger at the moment but using a fast charging port and cable which I know works
Hi. I hope i can help as i spend plenty of time sorting this out. First of all, change the battery - check new battery voltage if possible to be sure that you have working battery in good condition (it should be at least 3v between corner left and right gold contact pin on the battery plug, they are 2 thicker gold connectors, don't short the battery as you will fry it and it can be dangerous ). IMPORTANT DONT TURN YOUR PHONE ON! Connect phone to the genuine FAST CHARGER and simply wait, even couple of hours! It will eventually quit boot loop mode itself. If that does not help try hard reset (hold volume up and with power button until logo came up then release power button only, in menu press wipe or factory reset). Hopefully you will sort it out. If i helped out, buy me water bottle hahaha.
Ciao , mi dispiace ma meriti proprio una tirata di oercchie!! Per primo la batteria era gia' stata tolata , non viene MAI cosi' facilmente , ma occorre molto piu'ntempo ed aria calda ... Poi non sai , o hai dimenticato di dirlo , che quando cambi la batteria sui modelli top della Huawei (come il mate 20 pro) , poi il telefono non si riavvia se non dopo aver settato il numero seriale con un appropriato software ( es Sigma Key o simili!!!) . Con il to video sembra che cambiando batteria il telefono poi riprenda nuovamente il suo funzionamento, e invece NON e' vero!!!!!
Meno male che ho letto il tuo commento. Stavo valutando se comperarmi la batteria e farlo. Puoi dirmi che strumento è quello con cui scalda il margine per sciogliere la colla?

Not true. Depends how well you do the repair and seal it up. My mate 20 pro is 3 years strong post speaker replacement I did myself.
