Yessir Mr Ducksworth. Quack quack quack Mr Ducksworth
"I will not quack at the principal."
*GORDON, STOP QUACKING.*
Their current jerseys are awefull in comparison to their originals.
Too bad Disney technically owns the logo
@zerryborger4246 the Samuellis also purchased the rights to the mighty duck logo, and still own it today. Disney does not.
Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne..one of the great NHL team pairs in the 90s
Also btw throwing this out there in the clip of the anaheim ducks player Paul Kariya taking a slapshot is of him scoring a goal after recieving a concussion from a heavy hit by Scott Stevens. He came back to the bench and scored that goal after recieving a concussion and has barely any recolation of the goal but its probrably a very memorable moment in ducks history but they lost that stanley cup final series but still is something special.
oh wow... I thought the team came first and then it inspired the movie... never knew!
The "Mighty Ducks" did not win a cup. The Anaheim Ducks did. Disney no longer owned or had anything to do with the team by the time they won a cup. Two different teams with a similar name basically
We don't need to talk about that...Ducks Fly Together
Nope
Story is still the same in the original 3....they sucked, then got better, then won.
Wow i didnt know Disney was the owner of the real mighty ducks hockey team
@@plagues-haze-3987 Disney loves children
Classic movie! Great story
They only went champion after Disney sold the rights... How funny
Lies again? Modern Dad Religious Father
As a kid l thought the movie was named after the NHL team. As an adult l found out that it was the exact opposite. The NHL team was named after the movie 😂

“Lies again?”
Disney sold the team in 2005.
They won the championship in 2007.
Cope & seethe Groomers.
Don’t forget they got a Saturday Morning Cartoon in 1996
After i read your comment i searched the Intro to the cartoon it gave me goosebumps. My childhood 💚💜
It was a combination of the film, gretzky, and anaheim building an arena with no real plan. I think they cover it a bit in ESPNs Kings Ransom documentary.
Love that team so much!
You may have paid for this jersey, sir, but you didn't earn it.
I’ll see you in the playoffs.
He funded the entire team tho
Anaheim just building a stadium for no one is wild as hell. Let's just put it here and see what happens, literally.
That 2007 roster was disgustingly stacked.
The best, I love THE MIGHTY DUC, I want to be One of it
The NHL is a $$$$ generator. Anything for a good show.
The hardest sports logo of all time 🔥
A movie gone real, it is one of America’s sports greatest success stories
Don't know much about the real life team but I absolutely love those movies huge part of my childhood owned all 3 on home video (vhs)
I really wonder how much Eisener had to do with the decision vs the pitch of having a pro team in anaheim. It almost sounds like someone else's idea that he just gave the Ok to as the ceo, because $$.
The first and hopefully the last pro sports team after a movie! Also, the Anaheim Ducks where the first CA NHL team to win the Stanley cup. The kings are an older franchise and they still couldn’t win it with Gretzky.
They beat the heavily favorite coyotes as the mighty ducks during the stanley cup playoffs but would fall to eventual champions the red wings
I was born 1990 in LA i can't tell you how much the Mighty Ducks team meant for me
Let’s go Ducks!!!
Fun fact: Emilio Esteves, who played Gordon Bombay in the Mighty Ducks, also played Two-bit in the Outsiders.
I was there. Am still there ❤❤❤❤
Miss you
Mr Eisner is now doing wonders with Portsmouth FC in England.
then lost crosby and bedard lmao
I also how they went from one of the best logos in the league to one of the worst. They need to keep the hockeymask logo.
the ducks playing the red wings in the nineties Would be like the ducks in the movie playing the hawks.
Yes. They did win. Not the Mighty Ducks, though.
No the Mighty Ducks never won a Championship.
The plain old "Ducks" did....
It’s the same team they just rebranded
Absolutely incredible story
October 8, 1993 my birthday is October 5, 1990
I feel like the NHL team going on the same exact route as the movie feels staged
Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack…Go Ducks! 😊
Sorry, this is untrue. Disney were awarded a franchise and hurried out the movie to ensure brand recognition.
Did they ever try the fying v????
No. Because it doesn’t work.
@@goalhorn2012 how do you know?
Of course the cup title was after disney was no longer owned them
I remember being a kid and hoping they'd have this team in Minnesota since Norm Green stole the North Stars...not Anaheim (where the hell is that? - my 11-year old self). So you can guess the two teams I hate the most.
A decade
woahh
Go Wings
Watch E 60
Old logo was better
Mighty Ducks are like The European Spanish Giants Real Madrid, and they're still the Underdogs in the NHL
Anaheim Mighty Ducks & Real madrid are the best Sports Giants 🇪🇦🇺🇸⚽️🏒
Who is the girl in thumbnail?
Guys this might sound stupid but you know the north stars is not a team anymore so what if they weren’t a team before the movie was made so would they be a Minnesota team called the Minnesota mighty duck because the movie was made in Minnesota
Too bad they’re back to being underdogs 😞
New expansion team , never beating the Detroit Red Wings i remember this game Hockey was there to send message
Six years for our first Stanley Cup!!! The Vegas Golden Knights story is very cool too!!!
Their inaugural season was 93-94 and didn't win the Stanley Cup until the 06-07 season.
Now they got those lame ass jerseys.
Noice
Soft hands!! Concentration not strength ❤
