Thank you so much for this video about the 13 martyrs of Imus. I will share this with our group Tropang Imus as there are many members who are interested in the history and stories about the citizens of Imus. I just want to mention these men were considered to be Pillars of Imus and known for their integrity and bravery. I just want to add that Col. Fidel Cruz was the husband of one of the founders and principal of Del Pilar Academy, Belen Topacio Cruz. Many members are relatives of these brave Imusenos & I am very sure they will appreciate this tribute and remembrance. Best wishes and more power to your group!

Thank you very much for watching and more, especially for your comment that Ma'am Belen T. Cruz of the del Pilar Academy is the wife of Col. Fidel N. Cruz.

My Grandfather was a Doctor in USAFFE in 1940, he was in the Battle of Bataan, captured by the Japanese, and was FORCED to walk in the Bataan Death March, He ESCAPED together with his younger brother, They walked all the way from Tarlac to Cavite, after reaching Bacoor, Cavite, they joined the Pres. Quezon's Own Guerilla outfit in Cavite, operating in the outskirts of Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Tayabas ( Quezon ), when Mc Arthur returned, their unit was integrated with the US Army, they PARTICIPATED in the liberation of Imus, Bacoor, and Manila. After the war, my Grandpa RARELY talked about the war, Maybe, He saw so much death, suffering, and destruction. He was RECOGNIZED as a US Army Veteran in the 1990s.
