Ill tell you as a son of a koevoet member your father would not have been the same man afterwards , my father is very successful now and a great dad but trust me there's a very dark side to those men as they were the best of the best

He later worked at Veiligheids before going on early pension because of PTSD in 2003, just before I was born (2006). He had a good heart for the people and at his last moments he was sad to see how the SAPS is going backwards.
