In the scenes where the band members look "cartoony", they are CGI 3D models. They would have scanned the band members whole bodies with a camera and then they would have performed the song in mo-cap suits, because it's a lot easier to get those effects of them dissolving if you just edit a computer generated model then it is to edit camera footage.
Just btw, this song was specifically made for the final season of attack on titan, and the whole song is referencing the story *SPOILERS* The Rumbling is an event where millions of 50meter burning titans walk across the world and basically kill all of humanity and the protag was forced to start it
