    Hey thanks for making the video and I'm telling you the TH-cam algorithms are screwing you over I didn't even know you posted this video until today

      Thanks man. I'm in the same boat. I don't see content from like a quarter of the people I'm subscribed to. It's really annoying.

    If I was going to recommend you do another video in the same style I would say do a video on cross-country flying I try to spread my comments out so i can help your algorithm and bring more people to the channel

    Could you possibly post your powerpoints on a website for others to use? You could even sell them. I think these presentations are very well made. I am studying for my CFI and been trying to emulate some of these explanations.

      I would love to. But I'd need to make PowerPoints first 🤣. My video presentations are all made in Premiere Pro. By the time I come up with the ppt, you'll probably be a CFI. But I'll get on that. Brilliant idea.
      Not really interested in making money off of this stuff - just trying to help people out.
      Best piece of advice I can give you - the knowledge is all there. You, as a CFI, are learning how to transfer it to someone else. The way to do that is to try and understand the student's level of understanding and go from there. Don't just recite facts and theories.
      Oh, and in the plane...it's very common for new CFIs to talk nonstop. Just mention a few things here and there, no need to overwhelm the student. Personnaly, I can remember like 3 things at a time and then it's a brain dump.
      And finally, don't just teach to ACS or written test standards. Pass along as much as you can because you're laying a foundation for the rest of the students' flying life. And I'm sure you've heard of primacy...
      Sorry for the long novel. Hope that helps or answers something.

    How about a video on flaps

    • @PrivatePilotGroundSchool
      @PrivatePilotGroundSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not much there....put 'em down, you get a more curved wing - more lift. Opposite when they go up. What am I missing?

      @@PrivatePilotGroundSchool maybe like differences between Cessnas and bigger aircraft flap settings for take offs and landings
