These paddle tail roaches are my go-to, they're so versatile you can fish them at any depth and any speed, even jig them, and really get in a amongst the weeds especially if you remove the treble from the belly

I recently using this colour river roach and Ive done 12 pike in 5 sessions on my local river. rigged with a 5g corkscrew head they can't resist the fire tiger. Works on coloured water too. I'm usually a fan of natural colours but pike like this lure BIG TIME

I missed a big pike on that very spot pal, ripped my SG goby to bits. Good spot that. One day i might bump into you over there, might go there next weekend and have a look
Had some nice doubles on those on the local river same as the real eels the only savage lures I use really I do like the look of the pulse tails though
its funny how well the fluro lures go at last last, i usually end up spinning with a fluro chart and black mepp and it doesnt get a touch until the light fades then its BOOM! nice pike thou, im from northern ireland and even though we built the first canal in the uk for some reason it was the only one lol we had some good lough fishing thou until the eastern europeans wiped most of our pike stocks

verry nice pike! in clear water you can better use the natural color. i fish this shad with a 10 grams screw in leadhead.
