Well done for picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and getting back on with it - great attitude and courage. Curly is one strong and feisty pony and you manage her very well. 👏🏻💜
Ivy you did such a great job holding Curley you could just see you tire towards the end of the round and she took advantage and got a bit strong for you. In a couple of months as you get bigger and stronger it will all fall into place. Something I really love about you Ivy (all thanks to your mum and dad) is your bubbly, upbeat take on whatever life throws at you. It’s a very special quality and it will stand you in good stead for the future xxxx
Honestly the amount of people think this mare is a point and shoot is scary. We’ve even in the past put one of the best 128 jockeys in country on her & she did the same here. She is so sensitive she is so quirky. But on her day she is the fastest 128 in the country. I don’t think she’s sour, I think she needs a change of scenery for a bit & a routine change.
@@jumpingwithivy Yes, I was thinking same. She's definitely quirky, and certainly not point and shoot. The uncertainty on whether she's going to jump on approach is an eventual confidence knocker tho, and she's lightning fast at dropping that shoulder. Any all weather farm rides or x country places close to you? I'd imagine she's strong in those situation tho. I feel for you, had a horse similar, talented as hell but not honest. Got me riding defensively in the end and over thinking approaches. Got rid in the end, but the damage was done to me. Hard to fix too!
Everytime you fall my heart stops. Hope your ok. In my days I have fallen many times. Some bother me today, now that I'm older, but I did love my riding days. Your a great rider, and I enjoy following you on your journey 🐎❤
Been there, done that in my younger years! She is a bit of a handful to ride, but Ivy does a great job of riding her straight into the base of her jumps. Good job Ivy! Always rooting for you!!!
I am very glad to see that Ivy wears both a helmet and a protective vest while jumping but I must say, no rider, regardless of age, should be falling off this often. I pray your trainer(s) and parent(s) are monitoring your abilities and matching them with your horses appropriately. You're an incredible rider I'm just so nervous to see you get hurt. You are going to go very, very far in this industry!
Ivy wonderful job. You support Curly so well. That pony is a handful.. Ivy I could watch those beautiful red curls if yours bounce over fences all day long. You are a beautiful equestrian and your "coaches" are to be applauded for their positive ,sensitive guidance along the way. WTG Momma... ❤️ from 🇨🇦
Sassy curly. She's not aneasy ride. You ride her amazingly . Nasty fall. Your such a brave girl and talented rider. Your future top showjumper. Your an amazing rider...❤❤❤
Oh Ivy I felt that fall with those poles crashing down but tough you got up and and carried on.👍💜 Good that you could jump it again to finish in a good note. Lots of oretty rosettes to choose from. Big decisions 🤗 your friend Pip is so sweet. 💜🇦🇺
It seems no one mentions us but you have a brilliant coach. She's so positive and easy to understand and kind. You all make a great team! Including your parents! much love❤❤❤
aw Ivy ur so strong and your so brave. we are all so incredibly proud of you with everything you’ve done. Keep your head up girly and I wish the best of luck to u in 2024!! ❤❤
Hello Ivy sorry to see u have a full but well done for getting back on and going over the jump I hope u and Curly do some hard work at home together and get a bond so u both can understand each other u will do it and Curly be back all the best with this I hope we see u and curly training at home I see Curly a strong pony she gets very excited but I also see Curly being cheeky too xx❤❤
OMG! I feel bad for you. Although it happenes to the best of us. You looked amazing even though. I hope your eye feels better. And the ribbon you picked compliments Curlys coat color very nicely
so sorry this happened Ivy. You are so brave and amazingly grown up the way you handle disappointment. Your parents should be very proud of you. That is a harsh bit for a little pony. Maybe practice schooling in a snaffle whilst you take your break and the pony will gain confidence and become more willing. You are a good little rider and I hope you take this as encouragement rather than a dig. You clearly know how to hold and shorten a horse and I don't think with your skill level you need to ride in what looks like a pelham or double bridle. Pony probably just had enough. Good plan to take a break and fix it.
Oh I hope you were ok. You were going great. Hope the McDonald's on the way home made you feel better. But you still done really well. Well done you. 😘🙂❤️🐎🐴
I really have to hand it to you Ivy, I have a 13.2 Dartmoor who is not fit at all, but so strong and sharp that he can twist and be off in a flash - I don’t know how you hold on to a flying fit jumping pony! (Horses are much easier - more neck in front and they don’t just disappear from under you 🤣)
Is Claire a sibling? Curly is definitely a pony that even riders who have been riding longer than you’ve been alive Ivy, couldn’t ride even if they tried. I don’t think you get enough credit for that ❤
Geez Ivy. You hung on like a champ. Curly just decided she wasn’t going over, eh? Despite that, you two looked good out there. Horses spook easy. Who knows what made her stop and send you airborne. Next time, wear a lot of padding. 😊
Ivy I hope ur ok.that must’ve HURT.hope you have a lovely day otherwise.you and…is that curly?well whoever it is you BOTH did a amazing job that day!hope u feel better soon ivy*thomas cook*
You did so well Ivy. I hope you are ok after your fall? I’m not surprised that you got a little tired, Curly looks like quite a handful to ride. You make it look everso easy. What did you get from McDonald’s? Xx

Maybe you should not be so defensive and try to be a model for safe sport of horses? Stop using a curb bit. Just because others do something doesn’t make it the right thing to do to a horse! Look at all the headlines where owners and riders are turning a blind eye to abuse just so their horse can win. It doesn’t make it right just because others are doing it !
Or maybe you can’t ride without a curb bit? Your pony’s head release over jumps shows you are limiting the neck movement. If you are as good as I think you can be- use a snaffle bit and show others what you can do without hurting the mouth if the pony!
@@AnnMaddock-u1qWhy are you picking on her? She is amazing and knows how to use all her tack correctly. She loves her pony’s and knows how to not hurt them. Every horse/pony is different so maybe her pony’s need more contact.
Ivy are you ok that looked painful?? Hope you are okay? You did amazing job on curly ivy! I loved that colour rosette you got it was lovely and you deserved that! Hoped you had fun riding today! I hope you had fun a McDonald's hehe! I love McDonald's! ❤
Again, her ability to know a lot about horses would be improved if she were open to people who are knowledgeable- sharing insights on how she can improve. Not to mention ponies would be saved from pain and abuse
Ivy I really hope you see this!!!! It seems that you’ve had a tough time recently with bad luck and getting hurt. But you are so strong and get right back up! I could never do that! That’s how I know it will get better your doing so good!!!!! Ik it’s tough but you got this!❤🤍❤️🤍
Well done for picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and getting back on with it - great attitude and courage. Curly is one strong and feisty pony and you manage her very well. 👏🏻💜
Well done ivy. You did really well. When you fall off you get straight back on….you’re a little trooper ❤

What do you mean by she deserved it?
When are you going to stop using a curb bit on these ponies. Are you aware of the pain they cause if used the slightest incorrectly or harsh??
Go tell every other rider on the circuit doing the same before coming here!!! It’s pathetic don’t just pick on us
Maybe you should not be so defensive and try to be a model for safe sport of horses? Stop using a curb bit. Just because others do something doesn’t make it the right thing to do to a horse!
