I used to work a job where I would walk for an hour at one in the morning through a huge college campus in the middle of a city. I have a very real memory of just replaying this song one night when I walked to work, absolutely alone except for the occasional passing car. I don’t know why but this song leaves me feeling disassociated and haunted, and it’s absolutely amazing. Like losing a person to the background, literally someone becoming the overcast skyline, the passing cars at a stoplight, wishing you could keep hold of their humanity for them.
I absolutely love when this happens. A song just gives you a specific feeling that you've felt before, giving a kind of sad nostalgia to it, it's hard to explain, but it's incredible
one of the most surreal experiences ive had was not being able to sleep at all one night, it was dark in my room and this came on my playlist. i just lay there, staring out at the dark street outside my window with this on in the background and for those 7 minutes and 1 second, i felt a way i cant explain. almost as if time was stopped, as if i wasnt real.
when are you trading westbrook my guy on a serious note this band is really fucking good at evoking this emotion. something about it just makes it fucking perfect and makes me... reminscent? i dont know what emotion it is but calling the song beautiful might just be the only way to explain it
I just noticed that this video only has a handful of comments, This song is underrated, But at least the few thousand people who listen to this every so often can enjoy this song with me. :)
i genuinely can’t believe how little attention this artist has. honestly hoping it’s on the top of my spotify most listened this year because i can’t get enough of this song
Knew it reminded me of something! That mix of chippy synths and guitar plus those ambient, drifting chords do bring to mind Lena Raine's stuff. Especially with how the instrumental break plays with and alters the chord progression of the chorus while keeping the same riff throughout, very reminiscent of the Celeste tracks that progress over the course of a level.
glass beaches is the album i listhen to when im getting eaten up by loneliness ,it is when i feel angry, it is when im happy and it is when i want to enjoy my time. thanks
i love this song so much, i’ve never thought to comment but i just felt like it. it reminds me of a friend who introduced me to glass beach !! i like it a lot
I found this song in late 2022, and despite all the stuff that happened from then until now, this song always stuck with me and even manages to calm me down sometimes lol. i love it a lot.

the rest of the songs on this album remind me of summer but this feels like late fall
This song, especially towards the end, sounds kinda like a Celeste song. That makes it a lot more impactful for some reason, at least to me
I havent played celeste but i feel the same about orchids, the undertale vibe on it makes it extra nostalgic and emotional to me
