you should continue to drive on purvanchal expressway till azamgarh and then take Azamgarh Varanasi national highway from there it will save your time

Next time will surely take the Azamgarh route

Don’t take Azamagarh cut almost 80 km would be extra from that route, from Varanasi already their is good highway to Lucknow almost 280 km is distance it is the shortest and fastest route, no need to take Purvanchal expressway

Purvanchal Expressway is long route to Lucknow to reach Varanasi instead of you should take Varanasi Lucknow highway at Sultanpur the road you took it same Lucknow Varanasi highway was coming from Lucknow you left that road and took the Purvanchal expressway almost 50 km distance is increase due to this
