I do enjoy the rebuilding and maintenance as much as the running and I also enjoy watching build/rebuild videos. I recently fitted the aluminium steering upgrade to my Vantage and that does come with all the bearings you need. You mentioned the Carnage so it may well be that it would also work with your Zorro. Something to consider if your little mod doesn't work out. Also it's worth checking out the manual (who actually reads manuals? lol) as they usually contain diagrams of where stuff goes. I've found it very handy when taking stuff apart and putting it back together and fitting upgrades. To be fair Tamiya do a much better job in this area as their hop up parts usually come with good instructions. I do like the FTX range. I must do since I now own 4 of their cars. Great video and a big 👍for the fixed camera position. Waiting for parts is a real pain. It's even worse when those parts seem to be permanently out of stock. Had that issue recently with the turnbuckle upgrade for the Tamiya DT-03 chassis.

Yeah tamiya and Xray , Schumachaer all do great jobs with the instructions , even Kyosho and HPI but unfortunately companies like FTX its not that detailed . Yeah i have a soft spot for FTX . Ah yeah i took on board about the camera and for wrenching i have to say i agree , when i get my man shed / cabin soon ill have fixed positions for the camera . make things alot easier then . Modelsport UK have in on their site at £18.99. You won't need to buy the Ackerman since you already have it so that is a bonus. It does mention being for the Carnage, Vantage, Outlaw and Zorro so you should be fine with it.
Hey m8! Nice vid series, altough I'm still waiting to see all these upgrades in action. Any chance u ll do a vid on that anytime soon? I'm thinking to get one of these 4 myself without the battery or charger for 100quid and get a cheap aliexpress 30 quid brushless system in it on only 2s. Considering the less power I'm hoping it might break less and be more suitable for the cars basic build yet it ll be better on runtime or speed compared to the brushed system. Opinions? Zee
I can't recommend enough that you fit a better rear sway bar set up Chris... With that brushless power you're going to be lifting a front wheel up like it's doing a Hitler salute.! 😉 😉 You'll still get some lifting but it'll be a more realistic amount.! I personally think it looks cool, but it really affects the hanfling.!
