Dasha had always been overreacting on the floor, not much the style of Stefano and his professionalism!!!

Came from 'Ballroom e youkoso' and i pretty much know nothing of this world but 56's partner looked great with those skirt movements. I love it.

#31, their ending is terrible. He leaves on the floor much too long. She is ready to get up and he keeps her waiting. It looks bad. She should not accept doing that kind of move. It is kind of degrading for her.
Both 31 and 47 obviously forgot that Dasha and Yulia were their partners and not real capes 😂 they both look so in love with themselves strutting around the floor. It’s so comical to watch
ficklefialka - I don't find it comical, I find this sad; and also quite unclassy and disrespectful and chauvinistic of him towards his partner, (no 31). They should really change that ending.

I actually find her positionss and transitions quite exquisite and she takes the time to resume up. it makes her stand out as Slavik quotes Ruud's words, if others run, u walk.
@@Vllencia It's only chauvinistic in the sense that you assumed he was the one who decided and she merely "accepted". For all we know, she was the one who came up with this idea and decided to have that as the ending. Also, I don't believe she was "ready to get up", because from the looks of it, he was always meant to walk the full circle.

What a beautiful sport. Hundreds of hours spent perfecting the dance, and hundreds of dollars spent on dance apparel, etc. No wonder this is a sport enjoyed world wide. Is there any chance of competition in the USA?

I used to love polina's dancing but her dancing was chenged so much .. so robatic and big and hectic and busy .. her style i felt is messy too ..
Anna of course had balance issues and stefano didn't dance the way we'd used to expect from him but in comparison to these dancers they danced smooth and fluid and deserve to win ..
Did'nt enjoy the music .. not the tune we expect from blackpool .. and except anna,dasha and andra's , i hate three other dresses ..
Overall seeing people clapping and dancers gathering together .. joyfull
I agree with you on Polina... hectic and fidgety. I think its because of the choreography. This showllike choreo suited Pasha and Oxana perfectly well, but it doesnt suit Polina. Dont enjoy her round back and shoulders, either.

I would never understand Anna's rating in 2022, compared to 2010/2008. Same at best but rate so high now.

I love the dancers. Who was playing?
I was impressed that at least two of the female judges wore gowns with a demi-train .... in days gone by this was a signal to gentlemen that they did not wish to dance.... I think?
kind of expected to see more fluidity in the finals honestly. The cha cha and jive were fluid but the samba and paso felt so chaotic and disjointed, like a series of moves rather than a dance

What a strange Blackpool final. This video seems to be filmed by a handheld camera in the audience, and only half the floor is available? Many of the chairs are empty. The audience is just 20-30% of the normal Blackpool audience. The dancing is really great though. Stefano winning with a new partner, with his former partner Daria on the floor, really adds to the drama as well. Stefano, always the nicest guy in the room, who has been through so much over the years, deserves this win, as does his illustrious partner Anna. Thanks for posting this.
The Open Blackpool was held this year for the first time, so it's not surprising that the audience is smaller than at the Blackpool Dance Festival, which has been held for many years.
This is not the original Blackpool dance festival. That will be held soon but a lot of competitors you've seen this event (including Troels and Inna) will not attend the Blackpool festival due to the war among the ballroom dance world.

I have beeing dancing ballroom dancing in thes beautiful room
never been able to understand how Stefano manages getting to the top. He never had the flow of movements, obviously he is the one with the worst technique among other male dancers on the floor, unbelievable.
And there is Pavel, the most underrated male dancer in the world :/ The continuity in his dancing is unreachable.
I hope Pavel and Morten Loewe get the results they deserve in the near future.

Daria's hair... ow my lord... looks like she has forgotten to remove her rollers. Shes the best female dancer in my opinion. But the partner....hmmm....
I chalk it up to her having competed on the pro level for years while he was still dancing amateur…but at the moment, she is definitely at a much higher level than him.

My wife loves dancing and we try to do as much of it as we can. The other day, I was feeling a bit sore downstairs, and she asked me what was up? I replied that there was no ballroom downstairs; then she called me a knob!😁!!

What kind of dance is this? Follow. So it has the look of ballroom dancing, but the dance here is so much more on toe and the movements seem more frantic and frenzied. The men's lower backs tend to be very arched. Is it just a stylized form of ballroom? Does it have a name?
