    I have a lot of pennies and interesting coins, but not much time left on this earth, or good vision. I have flat lined a couple times, but still manage to work a full time third shift job, and do what I can to stay alive. Your channel is great, thank you! My real question is what to do when I find something good, or questionable? There are no real coin shops in my area that want coins, not just buy gold and silver. With all those obstacles, I am alone and have a family who are not waiting for me to die before they pick my bones, so I'll have to use the law, and they don't think I will, because of my handicaps and lack of mobility, and I let them for 3 years and the nice guy routine has eaten much of my retirement savings trying to pay for and maintain the family farm. I may get lucky who knows? If the process isn't too complicated , it can happen, but time isn't on my side

    @CoinHELPu Thank you for your videos, they are great!! I was hoping that on this video that you would have covered the 1964D more, I just found one today searching thru bank rolls, it could possibly be 67+, I hope, wish you could see it. Also the 1969 s that I have , I see doubling in the date with a 21x mag, but not in the words like the one you had shown, could this be or is my eyes playing tricks on me?? I am new to this but again I love your channel and your passion so thought I'd ask you to see what your thought are. Thanks again for all you do!

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're not just going to find an MS67. You will have to look through mint bags or put away original rolls or a coin someone cherry picked back in the say. 21x is too much if you can't see it with 10x or less than it's not worth it and is die wear or some striking anomaly. I don't even attempt to grade Lincoln Cents based on images. Thanks for watching my videos!

      @@timbrook7810 I think it's likely the sets themselves add up to more value than the $2000 if it's a substantial amount of proof sets.
      There can be an error or an oddity in there of course but likely he was lowballing you on the list values for the sets by hundreds to $1000 or maybe more, and didn't have his eye on anything in particular. Just drooling on turning a profit off you.
      It's a different hobby than stacking for sure. Catalog them all then start looking them up for values then try to find what may have errors ect. You got the internet, there's a ton of information on there so you don't lose money on it, or at least so you find a deal that you find acceptable.
      One thing I know is all prof sets before 1951 are valued above $500.00, and pre-1942 edge towards $1000 or more.
      A 1968 S proof set and the dime has no S mint mark is worth about $13,000 as a complete set.
      1975S proof set no S dime is about $200K as a set.
      1990S no S Lincoln cent set is worth about $4000.
      I'm sure there's a few more rarities I'm missing here but that what I got off the top of my head.

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good reply. I will add that there's some extremely valuable doubled die proofs to look for in these sets as well. I haven't got around to doing a video on these but there's a bunch.
      I would look at each set. I do. It's tedious and takes time, but at least you will know.

    The only way you can cash in on one if you do find it, it has to be GRADED at a higher than the best grade on record... if your coin isn’t graded higher than what’s on record your getting what the coins worth or maybe a few dollars but not thousands that’s for sure

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The floating roof is not a listed variety and the experts do not label them as such. It is a gimmick name just like a poor mans doubled die and it doesn't add any value to the coin.

    Need to ask you about a Lincoln cent from a 1964 proof set. This cent is smooth on the obverse, but on the reverse all the devices are frosted and the back ground is a mirror finish. Have you heard of such a coin? Any help would be appreciated.
