This one just starting going on the fritz might have worked it too hard doing electrolysis lol It did work good though, had better luck using that than I ever did with a battery charger.
Yeah i like the electrolysis I can just set it up and leave it, takes longer than sand blasting but it’s still effective. I’m having trouble with that little power supply now it might not have been rated to run as long as I was running it. I’ll have to figure out what’s going on with it.
Thanks Rich. Hopefully it works like brand new. I don’t usually rebuild water pumps but I didn’t find the new replacements until after I had the rebuild parts lol
Thanks, I had to look up Deutz 3006 interesting little tractor. Not sure if any made it over here or not, would be rare in this part of the world I’d think.
I’ll have to try that. I’ve had mixed results with washing soda, I used the arm and hammer stuff for a long time and it didn’t seem to work at all, then I bought some stuff on amazon that seemed better. But I’ll try lye next time. That was freezing rain hitting the window, wish it was bacon cooking haha
Cleaned up really nice. Use to have one of those power supplies on one of my radios.

Nice! Every little detail wrapped up now makes for a faster completion later.
For sure wayne. Thanks for watching!

Great rebuild, I like your electrolisis set-up, simple but effective. You re giving me ideas. Thanks

Sounds like someone is frying bacon at 2:54, now I'm hungry!
I use lye for my electrolyte, I feel it works better than the washing soda.

BACON!!! Or freezing rain.. 😪
I'm sticking with bacon!
@@ThatOliverGuyChris I like your thinking 👍😁😎
Scott, I should mention that you shouldn't put anything with aluminum on it in with the lye. It won't be there when you come back.
Nice technical video Mac, love this restoration video's, hope that bucket is not one you use for the maple syrup lol, thanks for the video
Hahaha no, my wife had that for something I just borrowed it, hope she doesn’t mind lol
Looks like you know what you are doing... I noticed that a long time ago 👍
Never have done the electrolysis before. Maybe someday.
Thanks Ed.
thanks for the video! where did you pick up the rebuild kit?
It was a sparex rebuild kit available at most dealers. I think I bought that one from farmingparts.com in Ireland?
