ellie larkin agree - most of my step classes can just about deal with a single reverse or mambo cha cha - let alone this which is for the 1%!! It’s not an effective workout either compared to more basic/intermediate step choreography to actually pick up the heart rate
Agree. Step like this is just pointless as most real class goers will never be able to do this. This type of choreography requires hours of rehearsals and practise. Unfortunately, it is instructors like this who put people off step. General gym goers start thinking all step classes are like this and avoid them like the plague.
It’s a Master’s Step class. Not beginner or intermediate. I’ve been stepping for 20+ years & seek out instructors with ADVANCED Choreography like hers. Masters classes aren’t for “the majority” of step class participants, their for Advanced steppers. As for effectiveness, cardio is any activity in which heart rate is elevated. Advanced step can burn upwards of 400-500+ calories not too mention glute/quad activation. #HatersBeTrolling #NotUrGrandmasStepClass #LeavetheAdvancedClasses4theMasters

Its not step its complicated dancing unreal for the majority of class participants
