I'm finding this, in part, a little difficult to believe. I don't find him convincing. He sounds like one of my psychology final year students. That's without going into NVC. How long has he been a 'specialist' in this field.
The reason you get puffy after eating a pizza is because of the carbs, especially being grain-based, causing a lot of water retention and being high on the inflammatory index. The high sodium content is purely a secondary issue in that scenario. Carbs in combination with various salts or sugars causes these kinds of issues. Remove the carbs, or at least remove the grains, and you can practically have as much salt as you want. This guy doesn't understand basic physiology related to diet. I don't really blame him. Nutrition science in the US is pretty trash due to the lack of incentives and the difficulty in performing quality studies, and these kinds of fundamentals are ignored in some weird cognitive dissonance (or more likely just due to bias and lobbying leading to massive groupthink and bad assumptions). Why focus on diet when you can make money with a pill, right?
You have gotten the information a bit wrong. Refined grains (meaning white bread, white rice, etc) & sugars cause inflammation. This inflammatory response does not cause under eye swelling unless you are allergic to the grain
Under eye puffiness can also be caused by fat accumulation at which point there is no topical or medicinal way to reduce it. But it can be surgically removed
That’ll just stretch the delicate skin and make the bags saggy… Drink plenty of water, eat organic, exercise, take clean vitamins, and get out into the sun… if you can find any sunshine amongst the toxins that’s being sprayed! Also, try to limit exposure to EMFs/technology… and get a minimum of 8 hours sleep…

Cold compress 10-15 minutes, no longer than 15. Hydration. Surgery, light therapy, and fillers in extreme cases.
