Jacqueline Lane - I don't think he is trying to psych her - she appears to be a very interesting person who is very open about her own perceived character traits and "flaws". She's an interviewers dream!
Jacqueline Lane I felt the same way. Like "Am I watching an interview or a private session with Jen's therapist?" Wish people would just respect celebs privacy as human beings and not try to "get the exclusive scoop." I also wish that interviewers would ask more questions about acting or movies or behind the scenes and not personal intimate questions that are frankly *nobody's business*
She really is a good actress but because of things she said and the fact that she always hides herself behind a self deprecating humor people managed to find excuses to dislike her and because she's a celebrity it's really exaggerated. People expect way to much from celebrities, they expect them to be funny but sincere, smart but not opinionated.. I think people need to remember that they don't owe us anything and that they are human beings with feeling. You can clear see that she knows that thing she said, jokes she made and opinions she's had are not always well interpreted. Don't make her a monster, she's just a girl trying to have successful career, not a doll who should fulfill all your ideal criteria of what a celebrity should be.
sarah854r4h actually i think she is a mediocre actress just because it is what i think, and a lot of people are like me. Dont look for an excuse to justify why some people dont like her as actress
You have the right to not like her acting it's your choice i'm not saying you can't on the other hand i don't understand people who hate her and watch videos of her just to criticize her. It has become so easy for people behind there computer there no decency anymore.
sarah854r4h on a hand you are right but when you are a public person you put yourself under the public critique. There will people that say they love you and people that say they dislike you, it is not that it`s ok just when you comment something positive. Of course there is no need to be rude but it doesnt change anything to her, she is still rich and beautiful, the hateful comments are not something new
sarah854r4h Celebrities are celebrities because of fans. The public. So yeah a lot is expected of them. Sorry... if they dont like it theh can chose another line of work. Is like a surgeon saying families expect him to save every patient, the nerve they have!! As if he had to! It is not an easy life by any means. Your life is laterally not personal anymore. If you step on the lime light be ready to not have a private life. Thats part of being a celebrity. But she can make it things better for her by not being a snob and saying stupid things like people died by hurricane Harvey because they deserved it for voting republican. Celebrities are there to entertain people in a personal level. Not to push political agendas. Moreover, if their theories about why things happen in life are as stupid as her's then they really have no business being celebrities. The sad truth is there are so many young talented girls and boys out there that her light will only lasts so much. Tsk tsk.
honestly Jennifer having no filter is the best thing she has such a great personality and she seems so fun to be around and she’s naturally funny which is great as well
There's nothing wrong with her! I did not care much about her from seeing the hunger games, but recently realised how freaking awesome she is. The world needs more people like her, people who are themselves no filter and another thing: women who speak their mind and blurt things out still get a harder time about it than men do. Hope she never tries to change for anyone
I have ADHD and it's gotten worse as I've aged. At 32 my filter is all the way broken now. I don't trust myself. I literally get nervous to what I may word vomit. I'm going to start having "chronic laryngitis" that conveniently happens during important events and gatherings🤐
Yes. It is the executive function disorder part of ADHD that causes impulsiveness and lack of self-control. Brain scans show that the brains of people with ADHD are different from other people's brains. Most people don't understand that, so they are critical and contemptuous. I try to avoid talking as much as possible, and I try to think carefully before I say anything. I think TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) will be used to treat it in the future, but the treatments are very expensive and have to be repeated every few months.
Focus on breath. In and out. And let your thoughts flow with it while you have oversight. Same with speaking it out -- with breath in and breath out. You can learn yourself to have control. Brain is not made of concrete. It change and evolve and rewire itself. It follows and mirror our own activities because we made those activities all the time. Suppose someone gets very anxious. This state didnt happen suddenly. It was accuired in time. Layer after layer his brain was conditioned by narrowed pattern of impulsive behaviour to mirror nervousness. And so after time that person is considered an anxious impulsive and so his brain is reflecting it. It actively reinforce it thats why its harder to unlearn it. Hence you may have false feeling that you are stuck with it forever. Now suppose and anxious person learns a propper way how to calm himself. And he is doing it again and again against all odds. What will happen? Turn about. A new pattern will be imprinted on mind and brain will rewire itself to mirror calmness of a person and so after time that person would be prercived and known as calm and in control.
Kace Hutch 🤔TMS? I've never heard of it but definitely looking into it now! Thanks for sharing that. Have you read _Driven to Distraction_ and/or _Delivered from Distraction_ ?
Planetar just reading that relaxed me so I can't wait to try it this afternoon! Thank you so much!! I agree- my anxiety is higher when my ADHD symptoms are at its worst and need to be practicing something like this. I don't know which came first the ADHD or the anxiety but they compete to ruin my life on a daily. Thanks again
she regrets what we love best about her. she doesn't hold it in. I love her that way. she's matured but she is still sweet and thoughtful and doesn't realize that we love that about her.
Finally, someone being themselves and learning not to apologize for it! She has no agenda of what to say before she says it because she is not acting like a machine! Almost everyone acts from their past wounds and neurosis. She can't curtail or change anything about herself. She is a beautiful mess! I adore her!
Jen did great in this video. I would have lost it if it were me there because she is here supporting this amazing emotional movie about religion and the cruelty of human kind and he is asking why she speaks her mind and says what she honestly thinks/feels.
This is the creepiest interveiw ever!! Jen handled it really well!! I would be like "umm if I wanted a theropist than I would get one! Leave me alone." instead Jen just played along
Honestly the questions he asked her are no different to questions she's been asked before. I love JLaw but I feel more like she was bored and didn't want to be there and just wasn't interested in putting the effort in to answering the questions properly.
I love this woman so much and pray and hope that she won't change in the future! This combination of great acting talent and real emotions, is an incredible, fantastic combination!! Who can help not falling in love with her! Great interview by the way, I've just subscribed.
I actually thought this was a nice interview because the questions were not the usual lot. They were different and insightful without ever being intrusive.
Wow, I'm actually surprised by the negative comments I've read: I thought this was a fantastic interview, and I think Jennifer Lawrence would have, too! Interesting questions, zero sexist "did you like your wardrobe"-style questions, just really very good. Subscribed!
Sonja Dawn the truth is you dont have to if what you say is based on facts and always respectful. But what comes out of her mouth is at many times just wrong.
I'm always a bit amazed that so many people seem surprised by Jennifer Lawrence's candor and sincerity. She is from Louisville, KY, my hometown, and this is, in my experience, fairly typical of the people around here, including myself. I would honestly attribute her behavior to just being an open and outspoken Louisvillian. No real need for further analysis.
Jen, there is nothing wrong with you whatsoever. Keep on telling it like it is and owning up to it and you'll do just fine. Just remember, if others have a problem with truth, it's their problem, not yours. I for one, not only love you, but appreciate you and your honesty. Peace sister.
She doesn't need a filter! As a matter of fact no one does... Speak your mind to the fullest as everyone should do. Conversation to the max not suitable for the sensitive.. Jen jen you're an amazing actor.. Much love and respect.
Hi. Thank you for this very spontaneous interview Magnus. When did it happen by the way? As this doesn't look like it was done back when they were doing press in September.
She is describing her executive function disorder, a part of ADHD that causes people to be impulsive and have diminished self-control. I have the same thing, but it is not as severe, and since I don't have to talk publicly people are not as aware of it in me. I wish people knew about it so they would be less critical.
Dear Miss Lawrence, what's the issue? You are great and unique and a wonderful person. Stay open, that is very endearing and encouraging, don't change a thing (or do if you like to, but there is absolutely no issue. Just different people and some will be offended or hyper critical, and all may have a point - or not. I would say you can absolutely stay on course)
She is a top actress and doesnt get asked ONE question about the movie she just starred in, but just about how she should behave herself. Sad and unfair for such a good actress.
Don't let the fuckers bring you down, Jennifer, you are an amazing person and you should keep being one. Teach people how to treat you. That was a great advice. I'm taking it.
What’s the point of this interview? It’s not news she’s a real person and act straight forward and just REAL. What’s the point of repeatedly asking ‘why do you act like this?’ Well why do you act the way you do? She’s born this way!
Crystal Lewis I think it's more like he's judging her "speaking without filter"... it feels like he's trying hard to make her say that not having a filter is bad for her. 😕😬
I have no filter too sometimes espacially for people who dont respect me, what's the deal with that...at leas I'm not lying to myself to fit & be miserable...because people cant handle the truth....her ex should keep what he think for himself & others too, I think her life is not anybody's business other than if she decides to.
Why are people hating on this amazing woman she is beautiful and soooooooo down to earth she would actually go out with a regular person she fucking rocks 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
She's right really. There's more and more evidence that much of who we are is neurologically based. While environment certainly plays a role it seems to simply play off what is already present.
I know exactly what she means. What I’m thinking has a tendency to just fall out of my mouth. The plus about that is people never have to wonder if what you are saying is really what you mean or is there a hidden meaning -usually negative meaning under your words. I know many people who will say something that sounds so nice but once you get to know them you realize they do that when actually conveying a negative statement. They call it tact. I have one friend who is a tattle tale-a grown woman. She will say ‘oh your daughter was so darling, she did’..... and then proceeds to tell you something awful they did while she acts as if it was cute.
It's pretty cool that we got to see what was basically a therapy session for her lol but for real, if she's dealing with ADHD then she should get a real therapist to help her out!
Nadia Safwan No, scorpio ascendant's are all about emotion s, deep and misterious, kind of want to get really close to you but then never show themselves entirely, possesive with the people they are intimate with, you see through people, nothing escapes your perception, so people can find that intimidating, you are emotionaly powerful. And a good time to ask about your ascendant because from now on until November 2018. Jupiter is in scorpio, so you can expect some sort of personal expansion, and good fortune. For instance, a friend with sco ascendant just received a very flattering award out of the bloom.. That's it, I'm not an astrologer just an enthusiast, but the thing about Jennifer is so obvious, at least to a sag rising like me. Cheers! :)
Yeah I’m a Sagittarius and I relate to her soooo much. Like I know that astrology and the signs aren’t always right but this is one is so right. I literally have no filter and I say what I think and I regret it afterwards but it’s hard for me not to lol
What a treasure. Seriously. T R E A and you know the rest. I've said this before, but since no one here could possibly have seen that: Jennifer Lawrence is a national treasure, and it doesn't even matter what nation you're in. If you're in a nation, any nation, Jennifer Lawrence is a treasure.
Just saying: mother! was actually an INCREDIBLE film. I mean yeah, if you’re slow, enjoy big flashy films, and don’t know how to appreciate something that differs from the same everyday bullshit society recycles, you probably won’t like it. It was different, the performances were raw, and the metaphors were thought provoking.
I wish interviewers would stop asking personal intimate questions as if it's a first date or therapy session. It's too personal and *nobody's business* This is a human being doing a *job* and the job is to promote a film they were in so ask about their *work* because I'm way for interested in behind-the-scenes, writing, acting and stuff related to the film. But maybe that's because I view celebrities as *human beings* and respect their privacy and don't think their emotions should be analyzed and picked apart by the entire world.
Miss Jennifer Lawrence, we do love you as you are and who you are. On the other hand, the interviewer tries hard to be a smart ass and ... he succeeds well in doing so.
Man this interviewer is so fucking annoying.. he's like belittling her personality. Why do people always comment about her boldness and the way she acts? She's hilarious and such a personality!! There is no one like her, and I never want her to contain herself. Love you Jen
I didn't like this... The interviewer was pushing over the fact that she don't have a filter when giving her opinion or talking about anything. The only thing I DID LOVE was her respond for the last question; she picked a very clever story, ending it with the great advice ("You have to teach people how to treat you") 😆😉 #bang haha
Lack of social filters is a strong autism or asperger trait. Doesn't mean she's autistic, but she'd probably score a little higher on the autism spectrum than others. But I am starting to wonder. She might actually be an aspie, but an extraverted one, thus blurting out everything on her mind - extremely recognizable - I have Asperger myself. Her charisma helps her a lot making friends and socialising.
Cuando estás joven tienes un sin número de reacciones más cuando estás al alrededor de personas que no te entienden te sientes más y luego menos porque hay cosas que no puedes explicar no te van entender aveces solo estamos en una camino .
Why is this interviewer trying to psych 101 her. She is there to promote her movie... not justify her personality type!
Jacqueline Lane An interview is an interview. I don't see anything wrong with that.
Jacqueline Lane - I don't think he is trying to psych her - she appears to be a very interesting person who is very open about her own perceived character traits and "flaws". She's an interviewers dream!
Well Said....... thought so too
she is a basket case, he is just trying to evaluate how much...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who got the impression the interviewer was trying to fix her. What a waste of a great opportunity for a great interview.
she is Intelligent
she is Confident
she is Charm,
she is very Talented
she is Funny
We love Jenny as she is!!
She is perfect
@@federicopanizzi9962 she is wonderful, but perfect would be boring!
Is this a therapy session ?
I felt like I was in therapy just mute when Jlaw was answering the questions. sweet I got a session for free.
Gustavo Meza hahahah good trick, now I can save thousands of dollars
Sasha Waszaj Low-key it really is but she handles it so well
No. It's a Voight Kampft Test
Jennifer forget it......when you'll be 60 you will not have it, you are young and emotional....

TheCraftyMom So because she is a public person she shouldn't have opinions?
She is human, of course she does
honestly Jennifer having no filter is the best thing she has such a great personality and she seems so fun to be around and she’s naturally funny which is great as well

👏👏👏👏
ADHD.
She's great, I saw her filming Jimmy Kimmel live and she's so professional and naturally funny. Love her!
What did we miss, seeing it on TV?
This was the most awkward thing I’ve ever watched
bro hes like pressing her so much hahah whaaatttt is this interview
jen... dont let the fame change you!
Natalie Robertson Shes just. A waste of time...... big Mouth BIG EGO .....BIG LOSS... OOOPS
Natalie Robertson what are you talking about ? it has ....
Natalie Robertson too bad it already did. Making snob statements like victims of hurricane Harvey deserved it for voting republican... arrogant fool.
Too late. Lol
Betsy Gray O’Malley yep lol
She is not having it 😂
Finally a famous actress/ actor who is proud of her country
I have ADHD and it's gotten worse as I've aged. At 32 my filter is all the way broken now. I don't trust myself. I literally get nervous to what I may word vomit. I'm going to start having "chronic laryngitis" that conveniently happens during important events and gatherings🤐

what has this to do with the interview ?
oh my god enough, leave her alone
she regrets what we love best about her. she doesn't hold it in. I love her that way. she's matured but she is still sweet and thoughtful and doesn't realize that we love that about her.
Finally, someone being themselves and learning not to apologize for it! She has no agenda of what to say before she says it because she is not acting like a machine! Shit, cant he see that he is making her unconfortable?
Honestly the questions he asked her are no different to questions she's been asked before. I love JLaw but I feel more like she was bored and didn't want to be there and just wasn't interested in putting the effort in to answering the questions properly.
Ana Franta no. He's German
she seemed so annoyed. must have been the last of the interviews for the day
It's because the interviewer is asking her dumb questions.
Her charm comes from her spontaneity and her friendliness.
I love this woman so much and pray and hope that she won't change in the future! This combination of great acting talent and real emotions, is an incredible, fantastic combination!! Who can help not falling in love with her! Great interview by the way, I've just subscribed.
Also, she's absolutely beautiful
I actually thought this was a nice interview because the questions were not the usual lot. They were different and insightful without ever being intrusive.
Nika maybe a little intrusive but quite interesting. I love it
What a cheeky get he is ... she there to promote her movie not get the third degree 🤦♀️
Wow, I'm actually surprised by the negative comments I've read: I thought this was a fantastic interview, and I think Jennifer Lawrence would have, too! Interesting questions, zero sexist "did you like your wardrobe"-style questions, just really very good. Subscribed!
Good interview. It's unique. This are the types of interviews people refer back to years later.
Jennifer was incredible, outstanding in mother. That´s really shocking and original.
I love all the cast Barden, Harris, Pfieffer and Glesson.
Bardem
How lovely is this interview. Very serious and personal, but at the same time not too personal and very insightful
She’s authentic and honest. Some people just can’t take the brutal truth.
I can't sensor myself either, never have, never will, see no reason why I should.
Sonja Dawn the truth is you dont have to if what you say is based on facts and always respectful. But what comes out of her mouth is at many times just wrong.
I got a ad for Red Sparrow right before this😂😂😂
I'm always a bit amazed that so many people seem surprised by Jennifer Lawrence's candor and sincerity. She is from Louisville, KY, my hometown, and this is, in my experience, fairly typical of the people around here, including myself. I would honestly attribute her behavior to just being an open and outspoken Louisvillian. No real need for further analysis.
I like the interviewer. Non-conventional questions for a change! Good job 😍
Great interview!
He’s low key interested in her.
JLaw is Bae , in my opinion .
She is describing her executive function disorder, a part of ADHD that causes people to be impulsive and have diminished self-control. I have the same thing, but it is not as severe, and since I don't have to talk publicly people are not as aware of it in me. I wish people knew about it so they would be less critical.
I thought she and Darren broke up?
Natural confidence is that little thing that kept me standing on my feet last 3 years :D
I love her honesty and humor
Jennifer is a delightful personality. Don’t squash her whimsical spirit.
I would say you can absolutely stay on course)
took the advice that she said at the end ,thank you I think it's great
I'm happy that you are the way you are Jennifer. Keep being you!
She "speaks in defense of her country?" When has she ever done that?
She is a top actress and doesnt get asked ONE question about the movie she just starred in, but just about how she should behave herself. Sad and unfair for such a good actress.
good interview, her problem is not the lack of filter which is actually a strong talent, but alcohol
Feel like this interviewer hates her lol
Crystal Lewis I think it's more like he's judging her "speaking without filter"... it feels like he's trying hard to make her say that not having a filter is bad for her. 😕😬
not really. he comes off as interested,
she's the greatest. I hope she never changes
this is not a interview this is a therapy session
I have no filter too sometimes espacially for people who dont respect me, what's the deal with that...at leas I'm not lying to myself to fit & be miserable...because people cant handle the truth....her ex should keep what he think for himself & others too, I think her life is not anybody's business other than if she decides to.
We love you just the way you are, don't ever change!
Why are people hating on this amazing woman she is beautiful and soooooooo down to earth she would actually go out with a regular person she fucking rocks 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
amazing interview..... !!! i hope you see this comment. isn't it amazing how many people have the wrong impression?
If my infant daughter had lived, I'd be proud to have her be as smart and sweet as JL.
I have never been offended by any of Jennifer's comments. To me this is a non-issue and I don't know why others would be offended by her
I love her style! I’d totally wear everything she wears. I’m going to study her style then try to put my own twist to it.
This is kinda award on the way how he interviews her
She's right really. There's more and more evidence that much of who we are is neurologically based. While environment certainly plays a role it seems to simply play off what is already present.

I love how she talks!
Oh, how I appreciate this lady.
She’s awesome !!
I love Jennifer Lawrence. This interview should have been about the movie, not about nitpicking who she is as a person.
So why did you click on a video with that title if you only wanted to hear her talk about the movie? Just wondering ...
Thats what i like about her, she says whats on her mind.
She has sagittarius ascendant, that's way she can't help but to be blunt and loud.
Maria Lena Tesla do you mind to explain scorpio ascendant?
Nadia Safwan No, scorpio ascendant's are all about emotion s, deep and misterious, kind of want to get really close to you but then never show themselves entirely, possesive with the people they are intimate with, you see through people, nothing escapes your perception, so people can find that intimidating, you are emotionaly powerful. Yeah I’m a Sagittarius and I relate to her soooo much. Like I know that astrology and the signs aren’t always right but this is one is so right. I literally have no filter and I say what I think and I regret it afterwards but it’s hard for me not to lol
Maria Lena Tesla please explain cancer aescendant!
Maria Lena Tesla i mean shes a leo.... sagittarius and leos are fire signs sooo that explains everything i love her
she is freaking being her self...she will change..wtf with the preasure
no! never filter yourself jlaw, you're so hilarious and open and awesome
You sound so condescending.
Malia Intikhab only to a weak mind.
I think he was just genuinely interested in her character
What a treasure. Seriously. T R E A and you know the rest. I've said this before, but since no one here could possibly have seen that: Jennifer Lawrence is a national treasure, and it doesn't even matter what nation you're in. If you're in a nation, any nation, Jennifer Lawrence is a treasure.
Regret nothing, you are a Goddess.
Her hair looks beautiful.
Life is too short for filters.
Ffs, how many ways can you ask the same question?
I can feel she's not comfortable with him, I feel She just wants to run away from him! Omg!
But maybe that's because I view celebrities as *human beings* and respect their privacy and don't think their emotions should be analyzed and picked apart by the entire world.
j law is on point about not having a choice
why did she do an interview with her dad?
Miss Jennifer Lawrence, we do love you as you are and who you are. On the other hand, the interviewer tries hard to be a smart ass and ... he succeeds well in doing so.
Im literally her.
I like Jennifer Lawrence so much
Why is this interview about JENNIFER, it should be about the movie, the poster is literally there
Man this interviewer is so fucking annoying.. he's like belittling her personality.
Lol. The advice is from Rupi Kaur actually ;)
She’s explained it well though.
Kate Spade called, she wants you to follow her.
This reminds me of every Joaquin Phoenix interview ever.
