    Just stayed there this past week. We were on B25- right up front by the road... perfect view of the beach. Super friendly, very pet friendly, and everything you need. Dog wash station, fence in dog run, swimming pool, outdoor showers by pool as well as right up front for when you walk across from the beach. The only thing is to watch out for the grass burs that will get stuck in your pet's hair if they are short legged and long haired.... but its not a huge detraction, just a minor annoyance. Daily trash pickup - just set your bag at the end of your driveway anytime between 8-8... Cannot give it enough stars... compared to other RV parks around, this one is hands down the best.. It does get a little crowded towards the back but the rows right up front are good for those of us who don't really like other people lol

      Hi Chad, we are booked in space B25 at Blue Water RV. I was so excited to see your review was good! Questions, if you don't mind: 1. Is that spot super-hot in the afternoons? I'm asking because it looks like the non-entry side of our trailer would face west and be subject to the cooking afternoon sun. Was thinking about moving closer to the entry. 2. How were the mosquitos? Being a wetlands area has me a bit worried about that. Any other tips? Thanks in advance!

      @@kcaldwell7588 we went in July, so everything is hot. LOL. nothing abnormal or anything. Having the huge grassy area behind you with no neighbors on that side is a huge plus. you dont have anyone elses music or just campsite noise... plus we set up our chairs and table out on that side for our outdoor living area at night... was awesome. If we go back to the same place, we will 100% schedule it around availability form that one spot. No mosquitos, but there were a ton of little crabs lol. We did have some ants out in the grass, however, but that was easily remedied with some ant spray.

    We just spent 6 weeks there and really enjoyed the park. It’s a beautiful location. Pretty easy in and out. Just a short walk across the road to 11 miles of beautiful beach. Not too far from Lake Jackson or Galveston for fun and shopping. We will return for sure!

      Crabbing from the pier or bulkhead is good. You will catch dozens each day. We were there all of this past july.

    We have one of the canal sites with the semi-private piers. The way the back in sites are angled would it be better for me to go all the way to the turn around and then back up my Rv? Our rv is only a 22 footer. I'm pretty new at rv'ing. Just want to be prepared. Looks like a awesome place and we are really looking forward to it. We are staying for Memorial day weekend

      Thanks, the staff at BW are so nice. We always rent a spot with a pier, put our canoe in and go out fishing. I have never stayed at Dellanera RV Park, but will try and get some drone video of it soon.

    I've camped on the beach to shark fish right there for 20 years. Have they put in a beach access road there yet, or do you still have to go all the way to the Peregrine Condos?

    • @lisaawild
      @lisaawild 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is access not too far down the road. We are planning to camp on that beach soon.

      Its camping, losing power happens, it's not BW's fault, buy I'm sure they were trying to get it restored as quick as they can.

    Wouldn't It would be sooo much easier if the sites were slated the other way so you could back into your site without having to turn around?

    • @triplenickle6995
      @triplenickle6995  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No matter what you would have to drive to the turn around to leave the park.

      I don't have a long RV/Trailer, I was wondering how that works with the angle. I see the pull through's are designed to pull in as you enter. Looks like it was very well planned.
