I am from India . I made zobo drink by following your recipe . Zobo leaves are not available in India so i made this refreshing drink by using dry hibiscus petals . It tasted so divine and delicious . I added vanilla essence and pineapple essence as well. Thank you so much madam.

I love zobo drink so much. I always make Zobo drink. We never buy drinks from outside. We refresh ourselves with the divine zobo drink. Thanks to Nigeria for inventing this drink. I taught my mom how to make Zobo drink. My dad loves it. My husband and son drink zobo drink after coming back from tennis classes. We are Zobo lovers from India.

I want to let you know that the zobo leaves are also called Roselle (it's the sepal part that is used to make this drink). The leaves are basically what they use in Andhra and other regions, called GONGURA. It's a bit sour and yummy.

Hibiscus leaf is the english name local name is zobo leaf.

No you don't need to boil it for 48 hours just 25 mins then keep in the fridge for a week so it can get thick
