1945 Mack NO - Truck of the Month - July 2024

The Mack NO, 7.5 ton Prime Mover was large enough to easily tow heavy artillery such as the 155mm, Long Tom, but agile enough to maneuver rugged terrrain. The chain hoist mounted in the rear of the body was used to lift the tongue into the pintle hook on the rear of the truck.
This wonderful NO, owned by John Gott of Stevensville, MD is currently on loan to Wheels of Liberation near Gettysburg, PA. John's truck represents one of 2053 Mack NO models produced.
