Trap Lore Ross discussed the bitter rivalry between the late rappers King Von and FBG Duck. He claims that King Von had been trying to kill FBG Duck for years, seeing him as the "trophy." Ross explains an eerily prophetic music video released by King Von in February 2020 in which he depicts himself killing someone resembling Duck. It's alleged that King Von, who was making considerable money through his music, was funding deadly gang activities in O-Block. Ross claims that Von seemed more joyful at learning Duck was dead than having a successful song. Despite these allegations and previous social media posts, the rivalry between Von and Duck never came up during the trial related to Duck's murder.
